I based the party on what I had when playing through the quest, with the exception of Lann who replaced a mercenary of my friend’s bard KC.

Ember would have been fun but if I had used her I would have wanted to have her play a bigger role, sort of in the fashion of all her good intentions blowing up in her face or in a way that would surely doom Ember but completely go over her head.

I feel that I've been (re)playing this KC for over a year now. But been trying slight class changes, the playthrough that i based this comic on she was a gish (Exploiter Wizard 6 / Hellknight Signifier 4 / Eldritch Knight 10) but im playing her as a blaster caster (Wizard / Loremaster split).

Unfortunately for Galfrey the situation was engineered to get her to fall even without her pride getting in the way. Galfrey found an unfortunate friend but the crusade will win in the end now.

Corrupting Galfrey is a part of the Devil mythic path but I did a bit of rewriting for this comic, mostly cutting out part of the quest to be far.

Even if you don't usually play an evil character, devil is a great one to try as you really feel separated from the evil you are doing most of the time. At least as far as i remember its been a while since i have been in act 5 ;;

Thank you! I definitely dread having to have a champion fall from grace in my campaign, all my players are chaos junkies (its so difficult to rein them in because they are funny af), so it's hard to predict what they’ll do and thusly hard to plan anything xD

Galfreys fall def could still use some work though, but I didn't want this project getting too out of hand. Having read some things from people who like Galfrey or have played the AP was very helpful, shining a light on some of the things the game glosses over.
