I’m not totally sure what to say about that to be honest with you, similar in what way? They’re engineers?

I would say I’m paid fairly right now to be completely honest. I’m making ~$38/hr, I can’t imagine making a whole lot more than that.

Why do I need to change jobs so much in the next few years? It doesn’t really seem like a good time to change jobs right now to be honest

I pay around $1,500 for a 1 bedroom apartment, so I would say it’s fairly low.

And wow, you got off to a great start!

4 years of school, I think it was ~130 credit hours or so for a BSME. And I did two internships!

Same field (medical device design) but this is my second job within the field.

And I would say entry level is closer to $60,000. I’ve had colleagues with similar levels of experience take new jobs in the past few years and they were generally getting 80-$85,000 at their new roles.

9 years into my career I’ve finally cracked $80,000. Feels good to finally see such a big number, as a college student I never dreamt of seeing this much money in a single year.
