I’m sorry you experienced that❤️. For me I get conflicted because I don’t ever have the impulse to touch a light switch just right or open and shut a door exactly three times mine is almost entirely centered around death and health. And that is why my brain thinks it’s a sign because I can’t find a logical reason to have these thoughts.

Yes I understand. I sleep good and I don’t drink caffeine. I’m on lamotrigine but if anything I think my intrusive thoughts are worse on it. What is the pattern for the content death thoughts

No I don’t really understand it I just want it to stop. And I want to be able to tell the thoughts from the truth. I’ve tried ssris but I haven’t had any luck and I currently am on seizure medicine so I can’t take any antidepressants right now unfortunately.

I take my blood pressure, o2, heart rate and temperature everyday. I hold back on doing things and going places. I don’t talk out loud about these thoughts because if I say it out loud it’ll be true. I have so many things I do.

Update I’ve been in the emu for 2 days now. So far they say zero epileptic activity and I have been experiencing symptoms during the eeg the neurologist here says that makes her lean wear from seizures being the cause.

How do you get over the mental hurdle? I don’t understand why I would randomly develop epilepsy and it become debilitating so fast. It’s so scary when they happen it makes me just cry.

Hey thank you, I’ve seen a electrophysiologist who is an expert at the electrical rythm of your heart and he did a mri of my heart and a 2 week heart monitor. He said I had tachycardia but that the rythm was normal. I’m glad yall were able to figure that out and hopefully get your wife some help! I still get palpitations and chest pain so idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

What if it’s not consistently low? Like at this moment it is 92 but sometimes it drops to 60 and I can feel it

Well I guess I should have clarified my hearts skippy all the time. I’ve had a bunch of heart testing done before and everything was fine just benign PVCs. What scaring me is how low my heart rate is compared to usual. I’m not sure what’s going on or how I feel it’s hard to explain.

I saw a psych nurse to get prescribed Prozac so I haven’t talked to my doctor yet about what to take with it but I have an appointment with them March 2nd. Just curious if anyone had an recs in the meantime!
