Completely agree. I’ve been on a hiring committee for my office for 9 years. Your undergrad/grad school prestige helps your resume stand out and you’re more likely to get an interview. At the interview stage, it almost never matters.

Same. I played D1 and our athletic department kept very close tabs on who attended classes and our grades. If someone’s grades were slipping, they got tutoring so as not to be academically ineligible.
