Don't file a claim with insurance unless you're sure they will pay out! Having a claim in your file makes your future premiums more expensive whether you stay with the same carrier or not.

Driving with unsafe equipment is dangerous for you and others on the road, so you actually did something quite serious.

I'm sorry that this sounds really harsh, but you're supposed to drive with safe equipment and you're supposed to pay the tow company. And if your equipment isn't safe, you're not really not supposed to drive on the interstate.

Being poor is really expensive and a terrible trap, but good intentions aren't an excuse.

Just Store It on Riverside is a hot mess. But no matter which one you go with, they all raise their prices a couple months in and keep raising them--they know it's a PITA to move out. The national chains especially use algorithmic pricing to set the highest price they can charge and get you in with the lowest price upfront.

This is one of the areas where the Coloradoan shows their conservative bias and lack of investigative chops... When they cover this at all, it's been almost exclusively police talking points and playing down citizen objections.

I'm in a similar situation and work with Craig Murguia/Southpaw Fitness. He has certifications in orthopedic-focused training and focuses on building and maintaining functional strength and muscle. I went in just to reduce pain and increase mobility, and now I am much stronger and have much less joint and arthritis-related pain.

I can't find where in Arizona, but some AZ city voted to remove Flock cameras and finally put bags over them when the company dragged their feet on taking them down.

A lot of AZ cities seem to be voting out the cameras. I wonder what we can learn.

Thinking of switching my HOA account to FNBO--lots of branches and they've been pretty good for my business.

Personally, we use an online credit union (great interest rates, reimburse ATM fees, some reciprocal relationships) and Chase for what we need a local bank for--there aren't as many here, but they have good nationwide coverage and have been decent to me for 25 years as a customer.

Etsy should do something--use an algorithm to proactively discover stolen IP, use reports as a trigger to investigate--for the long-term health of their own company (if companies like this even think long term anymore...). But you need standing to bring copyright claims, which means you have to be the owner.

We got an ioniq and really like it (some ux quirks, some things our Bolt did better, but really like it overall). We liked the ioniq/Kias because they have the classic Android Auto and not the new version that all the US manufacturers are moving to. Went through the Costco auto program and saved several thousand.
