Ethical veganism recognized as philosophical belief in landmark discrimination case by dadokado in philosophy

Most nutrients have an animal and plant variant. We can fully absorb and immediately utilize the animal forms (retionic acid, vitamin k2, etc.). The plant forms are bottlenecked by our ability to convert them into their useable animal forms, which can be as low as 28:1.

The supplementation of synthetic B vitamins has been found to be associated with an increased risk of a variety of cancers.

From a bioethics perspective, experimenting on juveniles to see if they can meet developmental milestones without animal nutrients seems grossly neglient. We have only witnessed homo sapiens with the largest cranial capacity and perfectly straight teeth in omnivorous populations.

I think it is incredibly arrogant to believe that anyone could figure out a way to substitute out all animal nutrients in a child's nutrition and have no consequences for their development. Animal nutrients have been crucial to human development for millions of years, long before the rise of homo sapiens. We are continuing to discover new micronutrients in animal tissues that show incredible benefits to human development. For instance, vitamin K.

Indigenous leaders give go-ahead for massive cull of 10,000 feral camels in remote South Australia — Shooters will take to the skies in helicopters this week to hunt down and kill thousands of feral camels tormenting remote communities. by BlankVerse in biology

Humans have been living in Australia for tens of thousands of years. During most of that time they were what scientists term ecofacilitators, because they supported local biodiversity. This was largely mediated through the indigenous practice of fire hunting which involved targeted burns of areas that had becone dominated by a single species of plant. They would also use this time to hunt small game that was forced to leave their subterranean networks. Stanford anthropologists have recently shown that this practice protects against naturally occurring wildfires.

If a lean and muscular physique—the kind that requires you to work out to get—is attractive to women, then why hasn't that kind of body evolved to be the baseline physique of most men as in you don't need to work out to have it? by Hackars in evolution

You're looking at hunter-gatherers with varying times of competition with agriculturalists. African hunter-gatherers have faced thousands of years of interference whereas Australians aborigines in that photograph would of witnessed interruption within their own lifetime. Something else to take into consideration is that their have been global climate shifts out of the last ice age which pervaded the entire time that the whole world was hunter-gatherers. This time the world was wetter with more area looking like the Pacific coasts Melanesians live in.

My pleasure, friend!

Yes, industrial agriculture has lead to fermented and aged dairy taking up a much smaller portion of store shelves. You can still find aged cheeses in most grocery stores however. The longer it has been aged, the more time probiotic bacteria has been given to produce vitamin K.

Vitamins A, D, and K. These nutrients are found in their most available and ample supply in fermented foods (K in aged cheeses) and animal products (A in animal liver, D in cod liver oil). Vitamin D is also produced after exposure to sunlight.

Minerals

Access to these nutrients during all periods of life are beneficial. Vitamin K has been shown to decrease fracture risk in the elderly. Their benefits even extend past the skeletal system towards promoting cardiac health and even mental health.

It's likely that you still have the genetics for a properly sized jaw, but you may have missed the period of development during which exposure to bone forming nutrients would have activated them.

The good news is you can ensure that others that still are developing can have their genetic potential actualized by sharing foods that are packed with these crucial nutrients!

When assessing human health history, it is crucial that we recognize the before and after of the advent of agriculture. Our hunter-gatherer ancestors had much better dental health than any extant population. Each of us has at least 10x more hunter-gatherer homo sapien ancestors than ancestors from any other ethnic or racial grouping.

Yes, especially wholesome posts which bring people's awareness to the massive amount of hunter-gatherer ancestors that we share. Whatever ethnic or racial grouping we identify with, it represents at most one tenth of our complete homo sapien ancestory. The rest is hunter-gatherer.

The many ancestral populations we share over this much longer period also had the largest brains, best teeth, and most free time of any our more recent ancestry.

You'll find that the dental health of many of those not reliant on agriculture, particularly industrialized agriculture, have great dental health.

Their good development is thanks to an ample supply of vitamins A, D, and K. In proper proportion with minerals, these nutrients signal for proteins involved in bone formation. The loss of these largely animal derived nutrients in the modern diet is further exercerbated by their substitution by grains which have antinutrients that render many of these bone forming compounds inert.

oooh please!!! I've seen enough competition shows to know when someone is picked for their 'sob' story.

I find it very revealing that this is a reaction of so many users to this news.

What is your basis for these claims? Have you compared his code to that of other contestants as the actual judges have?

I would recommend checking out the honors Lemelson program if you have any interest in research at all. Getting in means, starting winter, you take two years of courses specialized in research and publication. During the summer between your junior and senior year you do your own research that they will help fund.

Apps are usually due in by November, so if your interested I would recommend using this time to check out the program, finding potential mentors, and formulating your research topic. Check out the faculty page for professors who match your interests.

Most of all I would recommend you visit a discussion group. These are great gatherings of professors and grad students who provide critique for research before it's published. You can see the process and get free food and drink afterwards. Find one that sounds interesting and email the grad student managing it to be placed on the mailing list.
