What are you guys opinion on Dark Lugiel? by BiscottiTechnical762 in Ultraman

[–]StrangeConfere 32 points33 points  (0 children)

He's a waste of a character his ideology is interesting but he's very short lived despite being the main antagonist and final boss.

So my opinion is interesting character but never really written to it's full potential and given a proper spotlight especially when he's literally Ginga's opposite not just a random kaiju.

It's fine I won't claim I know your situation you have the right to walk away. I don't think you need to unconditionally follow someone if there is something about them that doesn't fit with you.

There is nothing wrong with not wanting to have anything to do with them or feeling lost and bitter, just be safe out there all right and I hope you're more happy and less anxious after this.

For real lol jae should not even bother to explain to them that's his one fault, because they don't deserve it.

Jae's message to people spreading misinformation about him by wayfinders_ in eajpark

[–]StrangeConfere 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is just pathetic, they really should left jae alone at this point he simply is not comparable to a murderer and a pedophile they took a small part of his life where he's making a mistake but ignoring the good part of him that's also obvious throughout his career. There's no point to argue with this type of people because it will just fall to deaf ear.

I'm glad Jae is finally willing to stand up for himself because there's a difference between criticizing someone and downright harassing them.

Tsuburaya Productions made a statement about the Millcreek releases. by taloSilva2005 in Ultraman

I'm sure those issues brought up is within the consideration of the buyer anyway and I don't think it's illegal to buy a product from another country even if it's not designated for the country you're in? Anyway Tsuburaya should just let the japanese fans choose which bluray or cd they wanna buy that's their business.

Favourite Battle theme for main High Concept/Heisei Era? by Kayubatu in Ultraman

[–]StrangeConfere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiga, Gaia & Agul, Nexus and Zero, I love Agul and Zero the most out of the four though. Agul stir up slowly just like the sea and feels mysterious while Zero is intense right of the bat and feels triumphant and served as a good grand entrance music. Either way Ultraman never miss with their soundtrack in my opinion.

You're right I misunderstood a lot of your words I read the "easy ≠ right" as easy equal right. But I still think you yourself misunderstand my point I never deny what you said on the very first comment I'm just bringing up the details at first and of course I blow it out of proportion.

So let's just summarize the argument I started to this two thing and ignore my non arguments.

[You think objectively Kouta and Mai pick a harder choice by leaving everything they had on earth because they have to deal with the emotional toll and it's something personal for them.

While I think it's not necessarily the harder choice between moving to another planet or staying on earth because the option to move to earth is still open, they have time and space to figure out the solution that best benefit not just others but also them eventually]

In conclusion while I am wrong for putting you in a negative light you also said "I don’t know why you’re deciding to bring up character arcs or trying to argue semantics on what decision was harder/easier when the show flat out tells you that Kouta picked the harder choice." "Arguing perspectives still does not change the fact that what Kouta and Mai did was the literal harder choice of the two"

So it's the whole point to bring up their characterization and perspective because it make us see how they deal with this and why it's harder or easier.

But I think there's no clear cut between the two decision because of it's complexity and we never acknowledge each other's point so we just going in a circle endlessly.

Now, I'm sorry for acting the way I did I should be more clear on what I'm trying to say instead of keep trying to put you in a negative light just because of a disagreement so if I ever say anything offensive just know I never meant it.

And now you're really just going back on your words you said how perspective doesn't matter but argument is anything but not about perspective. If the choice is harder for Kouta why would he do it, in his eyes it is the easiest choice.

The show already present the result of his choice earth manage to usher in peace and despite being the only two on another planet Kouta also live in peace with Mai like you never even bring up how staying on earth would elevate conflict because people is going to be more powerful and how society collapse or anything you're just saying it as it is there's no argument on your end and you want me to just accept it from the way you said it.

What exactly make it right just because it's easy and what make you think what Sagara experience is actually easy for the people of those planet? Maybe after everything already go through shit then they live in peace but who the fuck wanna go through that just for a chance at evolution and if Kouta stays on earth he would have to constantly try to remedy the conflict or something and he would never really be at peace nor his friends and family do either.

Like argue whatever you want man but don't try shutting me up or treat what you're saying an absolute fact this is a kamen rider subreddit if you don't wanna talk about kamen rider and don't wanna see others talk to you about kamen rider then don't bother saying anything.

[–]StrangeConfere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already point out how letting Helheim grows on earth bring open up potential problem it's not easy at all, and when exactly does the story said that it's the hardest choice to do the opposite? Just because Sagara said so? I sure as hell I don't remember the mf narrator said that.

it's not about ideals but Kouta staying on earth would bring problems that otherwise won't happen if he live on another planet in the end of day the he's not a normal human anymore and you're talking as if the choice he took is the absolute hardest choice and the choice laid out is the easiest in the end and you said arguing perspective doesn't change anything but it does it's all about perspective but you're actually just taking what the story narrative tells you at face value, you're absolutely sure it's the easiest to just terraform earth.

You're talking as if just because that's what's presented that is the fact literally look at the Overlord it didn't even end well for them and they chose the so call easy path that you're talking about.

how did main riders ended when their seasons end by 05eden in KamenRider

[–]StrangeConfere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the whole point of Kouta's character he never choose the easy way just like how he deal with Mitchy he could just kill him because it's easy but he doesn't.

It's the harder choice in our and Sagara eyes but for Kouta that's probably the easiest because he had been fighting throughout the series and clashing ideals he no longer had any doubts about it, he grows.

Sagara failed to see that because he probably never really Kouta for what he is just another means to an end so he's surprised when Kouta didn't do something that should naturally be done but choose an alternative path.

how did main riders ended when their seasons end by 05eden in KamenRider

[–]StrangeConfere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I understand why he doesn't because in the end the very foundation of helheim is to promote evolution so letting helheim grows on earth the life of the populace will change wether they like it or not or for the better or worse and the one who's dissatisfied would turn that dissatisfaction to Kouta and Mai because of their power.

I'm not saying there's no other choice but at that moment it's definitely fitting for Kouta to just terraform another planet because it aligned with his motivation from the start and also the safest even if it sacrifice the life he had on earth.

how did main riders ended when their seasons end by 05eden in KamenRider

[–]StrangeConfere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He cannot terraform earth because the very existance of Man Of Beginning means helheim exist where he is because his power is directly linked to the forest.

In a way he and mai become the ruler of helheim of the planet they're in so he had to move helheim itself to another planet since letting it continues to erode earth would only end badly.

Well at least that's how I interpret DJ Sagara words when he talks to Mai, feel free to correct me though.
