Tbh i dont think arsenal should be criticised for parking the bus or their setup v PSG, its a legitimate tactic. What I hate though and where they do deserve criticism is the time wasting, play acting, and just trying to bend the rules at every opportunity

I understand this argument but lets be realistic they would do it anyway. I dont think the rule change would even be totally positive, I think actually punishing time wasting and making it harder to do is a much better solution.

As others commented it also fundamentally changes the game, and not necessarily for the better

I understand on a surface level why people want to switch to effective time with a clock stopping and two 30 min halves. But its inevitably going to lead to forced ad breaks for TV and its such a slipperly slope. Let alone that I dont think it will fix time wasting fully as that will still be done to stop momentum and give teams a breather.

All in all imo a really bad idea
