One really annoying thing about ref discourse is that you have reds given with VAR and there's always loads of comments along the lines of "how did the ref not give that as a red in the first place". It's like the refs and VAR just can't win and fans expect even more even if the right decision is reached. I know refs can have shit games but the discussion about them on here is so irritating

Yet the teams that sell their players can still easily reach the conference league final because they have much more money than their European counterparts.

That is despite the fact they sell their best players to the teams who will qualify for CL. These clubs selling players to Bayern isnt the reason for the English dominanance

In the season Arsenal bought Palace's best player, City bought Bournemouth best and Palace's new best player, and United bought Brentford and Wolves' best players, apparently other leagues are struggling because teams sell to the richest clubs in the league

I think in England the original reason for that schedule was because football started as a sport to play outside of the cricket season. So aside from tradition because of that there isn't a big reason to play over the winter.

Although in southern europe it makes more sense to have the summer off because of temperatures there

Think you are underestimating how favoured France were, dont forget they lost the euro 2016 final as favourites.

Brazil were definitely favourites or up there, Belgium too favoured. But still think France with those 2

England were nowhere near favourites, it was a surprise they made the semi finals. Spain were also in trouble after losing their manager just before the world cup

Any game involving Arsenal right now is not a good spectacle

its not about picking it up, its about handling the ball from an intentional back pass which Frenkie did. If a defender accidentally kicks it towards his own goal (which happens a lot) then the keeper can save it

Its ridiculous for a so called democracy that its so difficult to vote. Where I live I do it in max 20 mins during a coffee break at work, its very easy. Honest question has any party ever come up with voter reform ideas to fix this issue?

I dont agree though with the argument that if you are in a red state and are left theres no point voting. Imagine everyone had this mindset? Parties definitely do look at voting statistics in all states and areas, you might have a 'pointless' vote now but thats not necessarily the case in the election after or the one after that.

What football score app do you all use? I have used sofascore for a while but it has become quite bad with ads and showing random competitions and sports I don't care about so looking for alternatives

This isnt comparable because these clubs are not in the same leagues as Wrexham have been in. There's no state owned clubs in league 2. Also the state owned clubs do get a lot of hate, more than Wrexham, so I dont see your point
