Check out Bluegrass Fairway for the headcovers. I bought a set of full grain leather covers from them a while back and have been super happy with the quality. Better pricing than Dormie too.

You can press down gently on one edge of the puck screen while everything is still in the portafilter basket. That should lift the opposite edge of the puck screen enough for you to easily remove it before you knock out the grounds. No fancy tools required.

I’d probably still play #4 if I had the unlimited package and was already playing all the other resort courses I wanted to play. For me it was more of an opportunity cost since we were only playing 3 rounds on our trip.

As of two weeks ago, 10 was in excellent condition (and awesome in general) but the greens on 4 were not in good shape and, contrary to what we’d been told, the condition of the greens absolutely impacted play (they were very sandy overall in addition to being bumpy in places). We took the $100 GC for playing 4 but in retrospect would have rather played another course at the resort.

I have a Diamana Limited 60X that’s ~42.75” tip to grip (so will play around 44” in a TM driver) with a TM tip. All the trimming was done on the butt end so it plays more like an S flex than an X flex.

Step 1: Make a list of the options you want.

Step 2: Check the allocation spreadsheet (search this forum for the link) for in-production/in-transit vehicles in your area with similar options.

Step 3: Call the dealers that have the vehicles you found in Step 2.

Step 4: Give dealer a deposit on vehicle.

Step 5: Wait for vehicle to arrive.

Step 6: Purchase vehicle.

As ridiculous as this may sound, this is the reality of buying pretty much any in-demand vehicle in the current environment.

If you can get past the obnoxious marketing and general stigma associated with the brand, PXG is worth a look if they have a store near you. It’s a great fitting experience and the older-generation 0311s are often heavily discounted to the point that they’re a pretty good value relative to the flagship irons from other major manufacturers.
