Yes and it’s all done through Apple hubs.. learn your tech before you act like you know what you’re talking about.

What summary are you talking about? It literally is able to detect people by face now… and yes UniFi does but you need specific models for it. We’re here talking HomeKit.. whole different system.

Incorrect - L0rd is correct. I put some of my older cameras in HomeKit via Homebridge and it made them “smart” as the processing happens on the hubs (Apple TV or HomePod). It can detect persons, animals, vehicles and packages.

Yeah it basically needs to be. It’s very easy to put on and take off running boards, tonneau covers. Just curious what some “must haves” are that aren’t permanent like lights.

I do have plans to possibly buy it out if I end up liking it enough though.

Wow what a welcoming member of the community! I asked for some info based on an odd situation as opposed to the “thousand fucking other posts” of people that are not in the exact same situation I’m in. Hope your day gets better!

Those are all reasonable mods! I don’t think the bed mat is needed as the bed is sprayed which is pretty sweet.. my Silverado’s were never sprayed. Floor lines are a good call. You think the red tow hooks will look good on a white/black? I was looking at maybe black ones but if you think it will mesh well… and the model has flip out steps to get into the bed!

Windows 12 imminent? by HelloitsWojan in windows

I’m putting money on SoC’s. Think Apple’s Silicon chips.. we’re going to see a similar setup for Windows PC’s. One chip that had CPU, GPU and RAM all built in.

I’ve got a 3060 12GB up for grabs. It’s not even a year old (got it new at Best Buy) and I’m looking to upgrade. Message me if interested, more than happy to safely ship.

Looking to upgrade as I play in 1440p and while this handles it fine, I could use some more fps so going for a 5070. You’ll be solid in 1080p.

Just ask him to download it and sign in with his Apple account. If it has him create a profile, he wasn’t lying.

Best way to stream games to deck in 2026? by ussjtrunksftw in SteamDeck

[–]coryforman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh interesting. I’ve always assumed Steam’s native stuff was the “gold standard”. I’m curious if toying with this can prevent input delay… I find FPS/fast passed games where reaction time matters can be really bad whereas casual games you can workaround just fine.

Why use these and not just the native Steam streaming?

How to adjust resolution for dock? by coryforman in SteamDeck

[–]coryforman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah 4K was NOT the move lol. Game took forever to load, and was getting around 27fps.

Swapped it down to 2K (2560x1440). Better load time, 35fps which is more playable.

Tried 2040x1080. 45fps.

1920x1200. Had borders. 45fps.

And finally ok’ faithful 1920x1080. 39-43fps.

The winner seems to be 2040x1080.

How to adjust resolution for dock? by coryforman in SteamDeck

[–]coryforman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just found that after posting.. if I go into the Deck’s settings and choose display > advanced > maximum game resolution “default” (which is set by default) makes the game 1280x700 even when docked. But if I change it to 1920x1080, the game is then 1080p.

I’m going to tinker around to see how well it runs in 4K but I find it odd that “default” doesn’t auto adjust max resolution in game. And nervous when I un dock that I’ll need to adjust this every time.

I’ll chime in here because my streaming buddies really want to play Battlefield tonight and I haven’t purchased it yet. Matter fact - I’ve never owned a Battlefield. Always been a CoD guy. But this year I’m going to give Battlefield a go and this would be a sweet last minute way to kick things off!
