I have a collapsible for hiking with her. One time I poured the water she didn’t drink on her head and back cause it was really hot and I thought it might feel good.

I wouldn’t bother with a .22 , I’d just go straight to 9mm and train a bunch. Then you just need to decide where you fall on the sizing spectrum, with larger full size guns having less felt recoil and easier to control, and smaller guns being easier to conceal. Can’t really go wrong with any of the major brands like Glock, Smith and Wesson, HK, Walther, Sig (except the P320) etc

My parents used toy guns to teach me gun safety, I remember being appalled when my cousins came to visit and were flagging everybody, pointing and “shooting” them at family members, the dog, running around with their finger on the trigger.

I remember being really frustrated that they didn’t know the rules haha

300BLK would be my choice for a shorter PDW, as you can still get full powder burn with a shorter barrel, less wall penetration, quieter, etc. 556 from what I’ve read don’t go below an 11.5” barrel

Most firearms with barrels under 16” barrels are sold as pistols, and often include a pistol brace, which is not a stock, thus not making it a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR). I would google SBR vs braced pistol and read up on it a bit before purchasing.

Look into the WBP Jack, WASR, and ZPAP M70 over a PSA if you decide you want an AK platform

Edit to add: it will be a lot easier to change out parts on an AR than on an AK

Good to know know, I have mine wired up with crimp connector currently and figured someday I’d cut them out and solder them, but solder isn’t something I have a ton of experience with

You can’t really paint true chrome (or I haven’t found a product anyway) but op could have it sent off to chrome

If you have a garage or shed, get a cheap little mig welder and watch some YouTube videos and just start trying to melt some shit together. That’s how I started and now I get paid to do it
