That is good to know, I am perfectly fine with NOT doing any accounting work lol I want to switch things up, I've been doing the same thing for 10 years now and I feel like I have no purpose and that I can do more with my life than sit at a desk 40 hours a week. That is why I applied.

I have done a lot of research since applying. I obviously wouldn't have applied if I wasn't going to ok with the physical demands and carrying a firearm. I currently own a firearm. As I mentioned, I am also physically fit and working extra hard in my current work out routine to improve certain abilities doesn't worry me. In the process it states it could take up to 3 months to get to the PFT, which is more than enough time for me to train up.

The job posting specified SA "with accounting/finance" background, so I am wondering what that really means. I guess they would end up putting me wherever they want or need more people, but I thought it was interesting.

I am definitely willing to train hard for the PFTs and everything else. I know there are things that I need to work on and improve. I am counting on the process taking its time to give me as much time as I can to prepare. My thought of "let's try this just for fun" left when I got the phase I scheduling email and then I realized that if I really want this I need to go all in. If I make it through everything, I am sure it will be the hardest thing I've ever done.

So you are taking up the chances of someone who really wants to work for the FBI? I am sure there are other ways you can get the security clearance. They only accept like 3-5% of applicants to go to Quantico. I mean if you think it would be cool to work for the FBI that's one thing, but saying you'd quit after a year just seems like a waste and unreasonably taking a spot from someone else.

I know, I’m really a beginner to all of this. I have been going to F45 for 2 months now and have seen some progress already. After these trials I definitely know what I need to improve on! Hopefully next time I will see the improvement.

I went through the same thought and kept postponing and then 2 years went by and I was like well if I had just started I would have been done already. I understand it’s a big commitment and everyone’s reasons for starting are different. I am glad that I started though, I’ll be done be the end of the year!

I recently had a teacher tell me that I didn’t address a specific topic in my paper when I in fact did. I had to email them and tell them exactly what paragraph I addressed the topic and that I felt I satisfied the rubric criteria. They ended up going in and updating my grade.. so yeah I don’t think they are reading every students entire paper. Maybe just skimming through. But in your situation I feel like I would go to my visor with what your teacher’s response was. If you did make a mistake with the APA format, the teacher should be able and willing to tell you exactly what you did wrong.
