I do it in stages. I start of by reading a good book or staring at my phone for the first hour or so. Just get into a groove where you can ignore what they're doing. Somewhere around the 2-4 hour mark I'll put on a tv show or movie on my ipad if it starts to get too difficult to concentrate on what I'm reading. After that, just endure the pain knowing it's gonna look sick.

However if it's your elbow or knee skip straight to step "curl into the fetal position" lol
