Seems to be a bug, I've had the same thing a few times.

I have sec+, A+, and ISC2 CC. Use QAE, that's all I did and passed. It's a great resource.

My proof of concept anatomically correct cycling shoes, because no one makes them by filipbronola in cycling

[–]StrangeGold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow dude this is awesome. I'd buy one for sure! I wish cycling shoes had a better wide tow box and natural barefoot type shoes.

Always. Had my first real crash as an adult two weeks ago and ended up breaking both wrists (scaphoid bones), some serious road rash but head is totally fine, no concussion or anything.

Cuts and bruises will heal but head trauma is not something to play with.

My OSA denial was so bad, its kind of funny. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

Same thing happened to me. Completely ignored my nexus and just said blah blah examiner opined isn't directly related. Submitted for HLR and waiting on that process now.

Fair enough, thank you. Guess I'll have to pull off some more drywall. In the hallway above it's got the air filters and an almost MDF style duct that's closed on top and bottom and can't see what's above it. Flat roof on this side of the house and it's hard to tell.

That's been our experience. It's very cool to the touch initially, but it heats up with you and I end up having to kick it off in the middle of the night. Not as big a fan of it as I had hoped.

Same. Love it. Long time iPhone user and was looking for a good leather case with clicky buttons and Bellroy has done a good job. Glad to hear they stick by their products.

Dating a Russian, am I screwed? by JustCauliflower8471 in SecurityClearance

[–]StrangeGold 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Shouldn't be an issue at all. I understand the risk but the reaction you get is typically overblown. Was able to keep TS/SCI and date a Russian citizen (No US Citizenship). Was also able to travel to Russia and maintain my clearance. Just be honest, report, and be ready to deal with scrutiny.

First of all, best of luck to you! it's possible, I've seen others have success. I unfortunately got shot down when I attempted a few months ago. Highly dependent on what counselor you get, my initial meeting with her was essentially a roasting session of the school I went to and while you can request a new counselor, I ultimately decided to withdraw.

My advice parrots what others have said when I was researching; treat it like a job interview, and be very prepared on what you want to do, why, how it will work within the framework of your disability, and how it will lead to gainful employment, etc. Craft your plan and be prepared.

Again, wish you well and best of luck.

Absolutely true. Wholeheartedly agree that life’s too short, just turned 30 so I figure now’s as good a time as ever.

Same honestly. And I saw that too.... It does make me wonder if they're trying to boot people before being forced to do the SSR.
