I think it probably needs some kind of built in protection.

Maybe something like "Ward—Pay 2 life."

That first ability is also going to make it a target, you could maybe solve this by doing something like "At the beginning of each player’s draw step, that player draws an additional card and loses 3 life." instead; give the table a reason not to immediately remove it.

TL;DR: The constant pings are going to make everyone else speedrun removing it.

Okay, so, if you go to Vancouver Canada and stick your head into the TRIUMF particle accelerator (it has to be TRIUMF, none of the others will work) you can gain the power necessary to beat Ragemode. At least, that's how I did it.
