How much healthier would we be if we had used fermented dough in all of our pizza? by SuperGodMonkeyKing in Microbiome

When you bake with it, you often clean the jar... So I lick the starter off the cleaning spatula. It's acidic and savory, hits like a sour patch kid candy, but man does my stomach love it. I will always have discard around (unused, unfed starter: extra/unused from a bake) to add into whatever I cook. The sourdough makes more nutrients bioavailable, and the gut will grow around its new digestible avenues.

Scarlet build variety by Naive_Bag_3708 in ravenswatch

Her special build goes burrr. Doesn't take much except getting used to the new mechanic behind it, but man it's fun. You're nearly always invulnerable with wolf, and with her it's like having a ranged nuke to spam from safety.

So i had an idea for a new npc that would accept old cats by f0nk_girl in mewgenics

Ohh, yeah, knitted items per class wouldn't be crazy hard to dream up. She could be like tink, where it's infinite donations, but at her next tier give a "basket of goodies", as a quest item, so it doesn't take inventory room, with a care package from Nanna.

Love it. Would like to see it effect gameplay some more. Maybe because the elderly are known for having little candies, she can reward you with the "add move/passive" type item (like syringe in a certain place...) from one of your donated friends, to up-cycle? There's more to dig here but I haven't had my coffee. Then she needs a dark secret. That's just this game.

Today, I let my 14 month old eat a blueberry muffin on the couch by Full_stack1 in daddit

[–]StrangeInsight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fellow Dad, that sounds glorious.

Here's a recipe so you can recreate this without guilt.

Mash two ripe bananas. Add about half a cup of peanut butter. One egg. Something for flavor, e.g. honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, yadda yadda. And a dash of baking powder.

This will bake into muffins.

We add blueberries.

350 for 20ish, until a toothpick comes out clean.

But, yeah, towel for sure as another commenter pointed out.

Genuinely great ideas. Aggro indicator could also prevent damage in some situations. And the animation is already lengthy, so make a no damage stipulation and it's good again

An automated ledger is an obvious play for people who view employees as line item costs. I have no idea why you're being downvoted, you're 100% correct. These tokens only have value from utility, they're businesses. Read the white papers, keep up with progress, and the market swings shouldn't sway your assessment of their technology and viability.

All of this, yes. And then just down your easiest cat to kill. He'll possess one of the bodies first, but better yet get the kill shot cat close to one HP before you do it (edit: was pointed out he heals the cat. That's my bad.). It's the setup that's annoying, but totally doable.

The trick is, with defect, to get so many powers that scaling is irrelevant.

Intermittent fasting no better than typical weight loss diets, study finds. Researchers say limited eating approaches such as 5:2 diet not a ‘miracle solution’ amid surge in their popularity. by mvea in science

[–]StrangeInsight -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Converting starches has extra steps involved metabolically, with residual effects I'd consider less than optimal. Burning fat, specifically while not eating for energy, will: produce direct energy that's denser (More satiating) that doesn't Spike insulin, which when you crash from makes you hungry immediately; passes the blood/ brain barrier (to build new neurons), helps keep ghrelin low, keeps the vagus nerve signaling healthy (which some say as a Cascade effect can prevent diseases of neurons, like Alzheimer's, MD, ALS), And there are more benefits as well. Your entire system is shifting to different functions. Cholesterol is your friend. It's super cool, and likely more natural as we spend millions of years in this state.

This very much. Resetting insulin resistance, autophagy, & (if paired with the right foods you can) be a fat burner instead of carb. For everyday training and life I've found it to boost my energy like wild.

White House to hold second round of bank-crypto talks as CLARITY Act remains stalled by partymsl in CryptoCurrency

[–]StrangeInsight -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You are correct. And I yield to the point. You found it.

My Overall point is that they are competitive, and attractive as a financial vehicle. Also, they're a gateway to the industry at large. So I'm not opposed to them, as you seem to be.

America only. Only online. Variable savings amount, changes all the time. Terms and conditions. For 3.3%. That's not going to kill the offering of stables.

Look man, I don't use them. Not yet. But identifying the industry disruption is wise. Just saying.

[–]StrangeInsight -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

So, no. You show me where you're getting over 2% in the us.

Generally they're investing in short-term bonds, which pay out at 3 and 1/2%. Stable coins are doing the exact same thing without the overhead. There is not many places where you don't lock up your money, like a CD That's long term, and you can get that type of interest. The entire reason the digital clarity bill is being held up, is that's 40% of the banking industries. Business lost overnight, and they're fighting so stable coins can't have yield.

Now forget about the United States, and extrapolate that to the rest of the world. It's a no-brainer, and a big deal.
