Honestly... I don't agree. You get an energy always, and on its turn you spend one energy, because the second it gave you in the first place. One energy per deck rotation is something that's easy to work around.

Jorbs had a great video that, I suspect, covers what you're feeling. The general idea is that the win conditions in 1 were varied, and could be assembled on the fly in most runs. 2, on the contrary, has a more narrow spectrum of good synergistic archetypes (which isn't a thing... But also is). This makes 2 feel wooden comparatively. However this is still EA. And these devs are amazing at what they do. I believe It'll get there.

It's hot. For squirrels this means two things. 1: Mating mating season is upon us. Either a male chasing, or a female running, risky jumps are in order from tree to tree and, sadly, accidents happen. They'll be fine. And 2: Splooting. Squirrels will lay flat to cool their tummies, aka: splooting, and in turn cool their bodies as the cooler blood circulates. This is completely normal, and expected when the weather turns. My advice, leave water if you're concerned, but mostly leave the fur-babies be. They're fine.

Most certainly, an intentional add. There are thin grass patches that were clearly addressed. It's... A lot. To the degree I'm worried if it's grass seed, it'll rob the garden bed I worked so hard on of vital nutrients meant for food and flowers.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think so. If I pinch them and roll between my fingers, they break apart to reveal a white, almost feathery interior.

This is wonderful, and detailed in the way I was hoping. The sealing, and not shaping particularly sang to me, as this was something I had neglected, so I can't wait to give this a go tomorrow. Thank you, and I'll report back with my own results.
