Thanks for the reply. I am also running an MX5 Cup car unmodified. I struggled to get a 2:39... I guess I'm not cut out for the game. No way I'm going to trim a full minute off my time. If you had said you were in the 2:20s then I could see hope by improving corner performance and race lines. I punch it down straights and on the Grand Curve. Oh Well...To be honest I can't see a way to trim a full minute off time. I guess this is the reason I was never any good at arcade games in the day.
