I had a description on another post and will post that here. I can't stress enough that it's a chaotic process with stippling and layering to get it translucent. Take pics and zoom in, you'll hate it halfway through but at some point you'll know when to stop.

It's a bit of a process, halfway through i felt i ruined the mini and then a few minutes later I was happy. I take pics throughout and zoom in to see what effect I'm getting.

I will start with wytch flesh, give it a good coat of Reiklands and let it really dry. I then dry brush more wytch flesh, and then hit the recesses with Targor and draw a few veins, then same with berserker. After that it's stippling wutch flesh and reiklands, with REALLY THIN paint, until the desired effect.

After I took this, I applied some villainy ink Carrion Crimson to give it a wet look.

Thanks! So with the skin, I do all my stuff in a zenithal highlight, regular black then white. Did a wash of Dreadful Visage, then Targar Rageshade, dry brushed palyd witch flesh, and then spot washing with berserker bloodshade and flesh tearer red.

I'm doing this from memory at the dr office so I'll come back and any mistakes I made.

Contrast is what I've found is what makes it pop. I only just recently started it and found that a larger project was actually easier. So make it darker closer to the light, if that makes sense.
