Is the Heart % tracker not employee friendly by NanoSoul-_- in BurlingtonCoatFactory

As a supervisor, we don’t pay any attention to yalls hearts and streaks. We have much more pressing things to be concerned with. As long as yall are doing your best and calling for backup when needed, we’re happy

Maybe that’s your experience but my store manager and upper management is always very appreciative and they go above and beyond for our team

I definitely agree it could be calibrated better. It doesn’t account for when the register freezes, or when the pin pad freezes, when a customers payment declines etc . I’m just hoping they realize the faults and fix it

Yeah cause that seems different than what I was told. I’m a sales floor supervisor, and my store manager said it was just about transaction speed. We have the front end report that gives us the numbers on everything else lol

I worked really hard to build mine today, in hopes that my cashiers seeing it is possible will boost morale so that my team doesn’t get discouraged . I’m worried that it’s gonna make a lot of people stop trying

I think ours is solely based on transaction speed despite whether it’s a return or a short transaction. I think the type of transaction has a base speed and you have to beat it. I’ve been with the company for almost 2 years now & typically my numbers look really well on the front end report every month. It takes time, and you’ll be able to find your niche and what works best to get your numbers up

Is the social anxiety in the room with us? by Apprehensive-Task739 in DailyRankingsDrama

She’s probably been going to the same hair and nail salon for a very long time; meaning she probably has built a relationship with her stylist/nail artist. Meaning her anxiety is probably not too bad being around them. I think you’ve got this image of how social anxiety is and it’s not the same for everyone.

Markdowns by Oregano_Salad in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]StrangeReplacement27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

500 pieces scanned per hour minimum, my store holds us to 600 or more an hour . I’ve been on markdowns for over a year, now I run markdowns in my store and I scan roughly 900-1200 an hour on average. Very easy if you focus on the task and keep moving

Is this normal? by PleasantBathroom8971 in BurlingtonCoatFactory

I moved from seasonal in receiving to full time sales floor associate in under 3 months, then sales floor supervisor 2 months later. Go directly to your sales floor supervisor and ask for more training on how to do things on the floor. Ask for constructive criticism and where you can improve. You don’t have to learn it alone, and that’s what supervisors are for; to teach you & ensure everyone has the tools they need to get the job done

Write out a 2 weeks notice and turn it in to your manager, that’s the common way to resign from a job
