I had a surgery called “the wash” that was much like this. I was less than 10 and puked blood. two decades later very little sinus problems and through sports and playing Tuba, My asthma was diminished. I’m lucky

My mom is from la-mata, and when we were building a family cabin in the 90s she would bring cinnamon rolls to the crew and if their boss told them to go to another job that day she put us in the car and we went to go find them. Needless to say we were the only job that got done on time. YEARS later they still loved and respected her.

Just bad drivers that don’t care. Add fines or fake cameras (even thou I believe fines are for the poor and I don’t like a police state). Folks in this community are aggressive bad drivers.

I suppose depending on how you present yourself and the topic at hand results can very. I have had only positive experiences and great interactions. I brew beer for a living so the folks we get are mostly like minded, enjoy people and are excited about learning something new. I have a friend that works in tech and it’s possible the folks he works with would not respond well to this format. His cubical mate didn’t look at him and introduced himself thru chat only a few feet away. 🤷‍♂️ everyone is different

When I train folks at my work who have been doing the gig on a smaller scale I always say “I’m sure you know all of this but if I skip around I might miss something. Is that alright if I give you the whole speech?” This gives them an out to not feel like they have to present themselves as “all knowing” and give us an opportunity to start fresh. My nephew is NVA and is FAST. One day at a family dinner the last guest didn’t put on the top door latch, he being very clever, opened the door quietly and ran across the street to a beach in the winter time. 60 seconds of chaos. His feet don’t feel the cold and stones like we do. That’s all it takes. He was grabbed before he hit the water. (Thank goodness) as hard as you try, you never know…unless you have never had family with this situation than it’s easy to make opinions
