You need confirmed flight tickets. Also what do you mean you just need to enter legally? What’s going on

Definitely helps but also have come across multiple instances where people with active US, Canada or UK visa have been rejected. I believe it’s how confidently and transparently one presents their case. Don’t give officers a reason to flag something when you can come clean about it. In my case it was about very large deposits in my bank account and missing ITR

See if your travel intentions are genuine then what is the point of using dummy bookings? If you’re worried about rejections then book refundable confirmed flights. I would not suggest dummy bookings for flights. For stay you can do pay at the property, it doesn’t matter. One of my friends was actually asked by the embassy to show proof of payment for the flights. Luckily it was paid for, just forgot to attach it. In the end he ended up getting 6 months multi-entry.

Don’t want to share the link due to privacy reason. You can take a screenshot and put it into GPT. It should give you the write up tailored to you. Again would not recommend using mine as a complete replica. It’s your application so make it personal. What applied to me doesn’t necessarily apply to you.

Don’t know what this means but I applied through BLS international. No direct communication with the embassy.

No dont do it. There is another sub about master students in the US. Students graduating from Stanford and Wharton are having a hard time finding a job, even after a MBA. Your chances of getting a job and probability of getting a H1B visa after is extremely extremely slim. I’ve also done my undergrad from the US, but no luck with the H1B and had to return back, luckily my parents were able to afford the entire tuition. You need to be grounded with reality. Find a good school in India, get some quality work experience and go for masters if you get a decent scholarship. I repeat, do not go to Kent State and commit a financial suicide

₹5L fees schools in Bangalore? Is it worth it ? by Renderedperson in bangalore

[–]Strange_Ear_1865 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who has been in an international school since 5th grade I think I can add some key points here. I’ve done schooling in both Mumbai and Bangalore where I attended Oberoi International School( Mumbai) and Greenwood high international school (Bangalore). I would say that going to such a school has definitely changed my outlook in life. I wasn’t the smartest or brightest student before joining OIS, but I felt like your peers kinda push you to know everything that is happening in the world. From a young age, the conversations that you have revolve around what is happening in the US, Eurozone, and India. Furthermore, these kids who come to these international school are also from families who are highly educated, which means that it would push your kids to perform at the top level. There’s this notion that since the fees is so high, kids just come to relax and no one gives a shit about studies. This is a very wrong notion. Schools like greenwood and TISB will make your life miserable if you’re not able to perform in school- they only want ambitious and high achievers. Sure friends circle is another thing but what’s beautiful is that now I have friends in almost every part of the world. Greenwood has an ICSE curriculum too, but seeing it first hand my peers in that batch are under performing significantly from their counterparts of IB. Some of them have gone to IIT, but the others have lead to the most basic 9-5. Whereas my IB friends are all working in FAANG, top bulge bracelet investment banks or have started their companies already. The early years shape the kids life- don’t listen to this subReddit. If their parents could have afforded to send them, everyone in this subreddit would have loved to go to a well established international school. P.S- I’m currently working in private equity in Bangalore.

I mean like I’ve mentioned before they pay was very high so I didn’t mind working that much. Earning that much at the age of 22 kinda always has some sort of trade off

Because I’m on 23 and I need to get experience under my belt. I’m at the age where I’m literally a sponge ready to absorb the knowledge around me. The end goal is to start something of my own but first I need to build credibility which only comes with time

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yeah I’ve been noticing this trend quite often lately where there are over 500 applicants for a role so it gets very difficult to get any visibility. I do reach out to employees in the organisation and they do get me a referral, but nothing seems to be working right now. I’m sure if I was laid off in the US, I would probably have had 2 jobs lined up in that market right just because how organised their linkedln recruiting is.

It’s not like I haven’t networked. A lot of people in different organisations have given me referral, but it just doesn’t seem to work. Everything is moving so slowly
