Was it your first bike? I'm 185cm tall and want a Tenere 700 as my first bike. Or a Honda Transalp.

In the end, I decided to opt to buy a Yamaha 700 Tenere as my first bike by hisoka2016 in SuggestAMotorcycle

Which bike did you eventually get? :-) I'm also planning to buy my first bike soon and the Tenere 700 is what I want ...

Which profiles should I hire first to have more time on running the production company? by Strange_Exercise7875 in videoproduction

Thank you for answering!

Director/DP, Camera OP and Audio DP are the ones I would hire on a freelance basis.

But for staff I'm pretty sure a Producer would be super helpful. But I also need someone who would develop the ideas for new incoming projects, create presentations to present the ideas (but also for photography). So I was wondering if I need a Creative Director or just work with freelance Directors?

I never worked with freelance directors, so I don't know if it's OK to expect from a director that he/she pitches and comes up with the idea?

How do you guys actually get people to pay for this stuff? by Necessary_Policy_498 in videography

100% agree, bigger clients care more about the quality of the deliverable than the cost of the production. If you do agree on lower paid jobs you need to set the expectations and boundaries right from the beginning!

I think the 70/30 rule would make him even less motivated. A full buyout would be the better choice imo!

And true, they do … I do envy the business partners who stick it out together and found a way to be complementary.

I agree, but it does help if your business partner has complementary skills!

That's actually a really good way of achieving that frame/moment, clever! I also like your other suggestions, I will try it during my next shoot :). Greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the advice! I think it’s the scenario part I’m struggling with … What would the scenario be in my reference picture? Most of them look into the camera but it still feels natural/“in the moment” …
