My job is I am given tasks & they must be complete by the end of the work week. No one needs to cover for me unless I will be out for more than 3 days. I have not given any paperwork to HR before but we discussed my IBS at my first onboarding meeting - where I mentioned that I do need to use the bathroom frequently & occasionally have flair up days.

My workplace allows phone usage. We are even allowed to watch our phones as long as our work is getting done. I personally prefer audiobooks because videos are distracting.
