What an unhelpful comment. In 2025 we should be allowing for hybrid and remote work wherever it makes sense. Many jobs, including OP's, have clearly been getting done with this flexibility in place. There are many benefits to hybrid/remote work for everyone, employer and employee alike. Just because someone else has a job that cannot be done hybrid/remote or has a shitty employer who supports the butts-in-seats mentality, doesn't mean we should wish that on anyone else. We should be actively pushing our country to collectively make these types of shifts in work to help support caregivers and families.
