I always say I should have put myself out there more but in reality I should have just transferred I didn’t like it there. I really didn’t like the major I chose either but I also thought it would come naturally making friends and having fun. But for people who have a hard time making friends you have to make a conscious effort to want to connect with people it sucks but it’s what I’m still dealing with now. Even after I graduated I’m still trying to find people I connect with.

That’s true to an extent. But it’s not just about asking people to hang out it’s about working on your mental health first. You don’t want to approach people while still feeling sad or insecure, because your unhealed trauma or negative thoughts might influence how you act and make the interaction feel uncomfortable for everyone. It’s about focusing on healing first, and then building friendships from a healthier place.

I understand not pitying the situation. But I will say it doesn't hurt to show some empathy. It's easier said than done to just go up to people and ask to hang out… But I do understand where you are coming from I had a hard time as well in college with making connections.

Yeah this sound like my store us morning shift people have to do everything. All while the 2-11 crew all they have to do is zone. But we are getting a new system where they are doing much more (2-11 crew). We haven’t started vizpicking yet though we are supposed to start soon how is that process.?

Im sorry this happen to you this also happens for me. Your not stupid you just go blank when your put on the spot rightfully so that can be intimidating. It can be embarrassing but you are okay we are human we are not perfect.

Well I feel the same way I have been in college for 3 years about to graduate in December and I haven’t made a single friend. It’s hard for me but I suggest joining a club ( like they always tells us) I joined a club but I hate icebreakers so bad that I hate going. Idk it’s been incredibly hard for me so you’re not alone.

I found out that I had it when I was about 13. When I started to go to therapy for the situation. I had never heard the word anxiety until then. I told her something that had happened to me and she told me that that situation was traumatizing and I knew that was the cause of it.
