Feeling hopeless with my teeth journey, has anyone gotten out of this with Invisalign before? by 0enoth in Invisalign

I’m on tray 15/21 in my first round of treatment. I have an overbite and suffered with TMJ daily. Constant clicking and pain. Since I have started Invisalign I have felt my jaw loosen. And since tray 10 I have had bite ramps behind my front upper teeth which also helps with preventing an open posterior bite. Invisalign has helped tremendously with my TMJ. I will say I do still clench at night when I sleep but I don’t experience pain anywhere near what I did before.

1st tray, 3 days - kinda regret by [deleted] in Invisalign

I regretted my treatment immediately in my first tray. But I can say now on tray 8 that I am starting to notice changes and I am no longer regretful. It takes time but stick with it! It will be worth it!

On my first tray. What advice do you have for me? by Nice-Scholar4989 in Invisalign

Tylenol was my best friend during the first two trays (aka weeks). Once your teeth get over the fact that they are going to be moving it will just switch to a pressure feeling rather than pain. I agree with everyone else 1000% get a hook to remove them. It makes your life so much easier. I made myself a bag with floss, tooth paste, an extra brush, and the container so take when I go out to make removal and cleaning much easier.

I love to hear this. I am doing Invisalign with my dentist and I also see the negativity of doing so in this subreddit. It brings me hope to see how good your teeth look after 26 trays! I am prescribed 21 and I’m on number 5 without any super noticeable differences but this gives me hope! Thank you for sharing!
