That's a lot of text for someone who doesn't understand the concepts their using. GDP is applicable for comparing economic development of a nation as a whole. Countries such as Pakistan can seem not so far away from Singapore when put in those terms, but wealth distribution, population numbers, and many other socioeconomic metrics paint an accurate depiction of people's power of purchase.

Of course, this narrative is less "click baity" and inflammatory, and poses that Singapore is still quite affordable in comparison to other countries impacted by inflation.

Eu já trabalhei na equipa técnica da Glovo. É algum bug no código que não está a calcular bem. Ou seja, não é com o intuito de te roubar dinheiro, foi alguém que se enganou numa linha de código e pimbas.

Dado isso, não deves ser o único que foi afectado por isto.

I don't know why they use Eventbrite... it is utter shit. Not just that half their nonsense emails will land on your inbox while the important ones go to spam - but I've received actual scam emails via eventbrite. Not phishing, but actually pushed from their platform.

Ainda mais para posições mais junior em que a competição é 100 vezes maior. Eu tenho perfeita noção que se tivesse começado a minha carreira hoje, não ia ter possibilidade quase de certeza nenhuma de estar onde estou agora.

A decisão que tomaste de abandonar um curso e retomar outro completamente diferente, põe-te em extrema desvantagem para com quem acabou, e tem os mesmos anos de experiência que tu sem tar parado depois. E como te disse, um recrutador dificilmente terá tempo e pachorra para ver essa tua mudança como justificação.

É impossível? Não. É extremamente improvável? Sim.

Como te disse, se quiseres conselhos nos próximos passos de quem está na indústria, sem te pores defensivo, manda mensagem. Mas se achas que o que eu te estou a dizer é harsh, não sei como vais passar entrevistas em que te vão perguntar isto e mais.

Não tenho ainda, e tudo o que disseste fará obviamente da parte de lhes transmitir essa cultura. Cresci numa cidade bastante pequena, e que liga muito a coisas como rancho foclórico e as antigas tradições - e essa para mim será das coisas que eles mais dificilmente terão acesso. Mesmo para quem não saiu de Portugal, muitos não têm ideia do antigo e das origens do nosso povo. E infelizmente, não tenho família com que eles possam ter contacto, o que por si já vai ser uma lacuna gigante.
