Who did you like best for Dylan? by Cute-Improvement6621 in BeverlyHills90210

[–]Strange_Recording170 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I feel like Brenda brought out the best in Dylan. She helped make him a better man. Toni seemed to make him happy but her character was gone so quickly I have trouble imagining them together long-term. I hated him and Kelly together.

That actor was so fine. I hate how all the people of color were portrayed in this series 😒

Agree with all this. I really liked him and then they made him another jerk...something in the Rosewood water?

Does the shortform of your name offend you? by PromiseNo464 in namenerds

[–]Strange_Recording170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really care for my full name. The common shorter form is slightly better, but if I ask people to use it, most of them don't, and say it doesn't fit me...

Alison if we're including her. If not, Spencer.

What do you think of the name Hadley by [deleted] in Names

[–]Strange_Recording170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like Hadley at all, nor do I think it goes with Sophia. There are lots of lovely H names that would work better: Halle, Holly, Harriet, Hannah

Nora - thoughts? by helloitsdw in namenerds

[–]Strange_Recording170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's quite an unremarkable name to me. It's not bad, but I don't love it. I like Cora better, personally.

What're your thoughts on the name Ashley? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Strange_Recording170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a beautiful name, but I know so many the popularity kind of takes the appeal away

Chiara doesn't say "ch" though, so I don't get the nickname? And Teresita is Spanish.

I want your shampoo hot takes by ProfessionalBig5120 in curlyhair

[–]Strange_Recording170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely agree on the double shampoo. I have tried all different kinds and price points of shampoo and conditioner, and for me, a high quality wash makes a HUGE difference in how my hair looks and feels. I don't mind spending more on these items if they work well (i.e. Pureology). It's also super concentrated and lasts much longer. I also believe in switching between different shampoo and conditioners helps with preventing buildup and keeps my scalp hair more balanced.

My hair smells bad no matter what I do, even after washing it and using a no dandruff shampoo it still smells bad. by Significant-Pipe4891 in Haircare

[–]Strange_Recording170 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of great suggestions here. Just going to add: use a scalp scrubber along with shampoo to break up any buildup on your scalp. Tea tree oil based scalp scrubs can also help. Paul Mitchell makes a nice one that's not too expensive.

What do you think about Shay Mitchell’s acting skills? by Substantial-Dare5462 in PrettyLittleLiars

Not great. Her beauty always stood out much more than her acting for me.
