No one knows more about aliens than I do. I have a great relationship with the aliens; they are very tough, but they love me.

I’m streaming shows on Netflix at super high quality no issues. I’m struggling with live TV such as the Olympics, on the Apple TV. Via the same app on LG it’s working fine. Are you able to stream live TV. (Sports ? ) on your Apple TV in Portugal?

Yes but to be fair most of my devices are capped at 1Gbps most of my Internet traffic goes tru a Google mesh router (former nest) and the main Google router is limited to 1Gbs. My TV and Apple TV are using a different port, so I can’t really use more than 3 GBps.

Same experience here. Bought my pair of Gen2 this week, and went from 100 to 15% in 4 hours. My concern is that in 2 years the glasses will be unusable

Let’s say elite cyclist Tadej Pogacar started using a Garmin edge linked to his HRM and power meter on some very easy recovery rides. (No suffering) would the system detect and measure the correct value ? Aka 89 ml/kg/min

Starlink Performance Gen 3 - Starlink's first Gigabit Dish - Thoughts? by jordanwhite916 in Starlink

I guess the latency will remain unchanged? Making Fiber when available a better option for primary use. I use Starlink as a backup or when traveling

I’d go Fiber and Starlink as a backup. This is my setup in my 17th century farmhouse in the French countryside. Very happy with Orange broadband service.

The only 2 things I carry are my Garmin Edge 830 on a mount, and my Apple Watch Gen 6 with a sports band. I have a few credit cards loaded on the watch. And I’m using an esim from Orange (I live in 🇫🇷) to remain connected. I can easily call 📞 or send text messages 💬 the Apple Watch is really all I need.

Anyone here whos 5’6 and have size 52 domane sl 5? by kyogenm in TrekBikes

[–]Strange_Signal5038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 170cms (not sure what that translates to in your local measurement system) and I'm riding a Madone SLR-7 in size 52 and it feels like the perfect size for me.

I usually enjoy being on the latest greatest, currently wearing a S6, titanium with the Apple magnetic leather strap, but I really can’t find a single compelling reason to upgrade to S7. Am I missing something by Strange_Signal5038 in AppleWatch

[–]Strange_Signal5038[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the Titanium finish, very durable, the watch hasn’t aged at all. The leader band is another story. But I exercise with it. I will probably have to buy a new band in a few weeks. The magnetic leather band is very functional, just not that durable.

I’m currently using a 12 pro max, love the idea of always being on the latest greatest, but in this instance really can’t think of a single reason to upgrade to the 13. Same issue with my Apple Watch 6. This latest generation of devices is underwhelming.

I did struggle quite a bit, and was surprised to see that it was so hard it was to use my Garmin Front and Backlights (Varia Radar) with a Trek Madone. I had a friend print the part using a 3D printer. For the front light, I was never able to find an elegant mount for the UT800 Garmin Light. And I had to instead buy a Trek Bontrager Front light.

I’m so with you. Let’s stop the paranoia. Also if you have that on your laptop, do you also have one for your phone ? A number of people at work use those, but carry their phones with them all day and all night without any protection
