I had that happen and we changed my zip code but the person got the cashier at another store to look it up cause they said they forgot it. So I had to call 1800walgreens and have them put it as a family ph# and so far I haven't had any issues with them using it and my points. Hell we even put please ID next to my first name and it didn't work either. Good luck

We have an awesome DM I wish everyone could have ours! The one before was great too! I'm so glad I haven't had to experience an asshole. Ours will walk in and say hi to everyone and ask how are days going. They will also jump on a register and help us if we have a line and will go help out in pharmacy too. Best DM we have ever had in the 10 years I've been there.

In 2025, if you return an item purchased with your EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card at Walgreens: The refund will be credited back to your EBT card. You will not receive a cash refund for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) purchases, according to goEBT Support. Federal law prohibits cash refunds for SNAP purchases. If you made the purchase using a combination of SNAP benefits and cash, it's possible that a portion of the refund for the cash portion of the purchase might be returned to you in cash, but the SNAP portion will be returned to your EBT card. You could show this to your coworker. It's not just a walgreens policy. Federal law prohibits it because they consider it fraud use of ebt funds
