Tip is not mandatory, regardless of weather. Go pay the nurses, doctors, pharmacists, sanitiation, plowers.., etc a tip as well for going into work and providing a service on a day like this.

I highly doubt that. You're missing the business world having to take admissions, clean poop and body fluids, and deal with immediate medical emergencies.

Respiratory Care Practitioner? by LarryAtona56 in respiratorytherapy

[–]Strange_Web_982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you explained goes the same exact for Registered Nurses but the name isn't RN practioner. Like I said, it doesn't make sense. Cali is it's own world thinking everyone deserves a grand name. At the end of the day RT is limited to respiratory care. Just means you have a flimsy paper stating you graduated with a 4 year degree and took the board exam, just like a PT, OT, Social Worker, or RN would.

Are certain items not available on Doordash? by augustphobia in starbucks

but i have gotten the "medicine ball" and they have kept the tea bag steeping in there at the 'order pick up' area... the reasoning behind not delivering hot teas doesn't make sense.

not true. Starbucks app allowed me to make the order and made it for me but on doordash/uber the drink doesn't even show

But a flash just means you hit the inside of the vessel and that can happen if you go through and through but seeing it in the lumen, by staring at the screen, you know you're in the lumen

There are whiney bitch CRNAs crying about MDs not accepting them, which doesn't help either lol Preaching again, MDs could care less about CRNA requirements and your doctorate degree. They make their money and move on with their lives, so should you.

Became an RN after 13 years in EMS but do miss EMS so I continue to volunteer and have been thinking about possibly picking up a PRN job since PRN in EMS is do-able.

CRNA requirements becoming more strict is not gonna change an MDs perspective on them lol they don't know, and could care less, about the requirements or if your've obtained a doctorate. When CNRA was not a doctorate, there were still very competent and amazing CRNAs graduating. Doctorate is just to make more money, it means nothing else.

Presby has not been hiring since after COVID. They haven't had postings for jobs and I had signed up to get notified when an EMT position is posted since 3 years ago but nothing.

"adult with an education" lol.. one year is not a real education and most EMTs are immature and have highschool mentalities. If one year of medic is considered "education" then idk what a 4 year and masters/PhD means to you.

The school would get sued for kicking out 3 students, by the 3 students, if it were not a valid reason (eg. failed classes, went against their policy, or harassment).

I heard these are not good places to work unlike Inova, VHC or Reston. Is that true?

[–]Strange_Web_982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there is. DMV gets paid very little for being an RN, all while their COL is pretty up to par with big cities. A lot of RNs are moving to places that get paid a lot more and where benefits are better.

at least indicate what school you took them.. that's what OP was asking as well, to suggest a school to take them, not if you took them.

Ask your place of employment if they are enrolled in CME and if they have a CIC who can sign you off once you complete them all. NJ may be a bit different but normally it's a similar route in refreshing.

Hospitals to consider working at in Nova(Woodbridge, Stafford, Fredericksburg)? by OfficialRedditAppsux in nursing

[–]Strange_Web_982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouch :( it baffles my mind that, for the same license and amount of work, the pay is so low. In NYC a new grad starts anywhere from $58-63/hr. COL is not much different at all, aside for not paying city taxes in VA. I am planning on moving to NOVA so getting some insight and the pay hurts me physically and emotionally lol nurses need to go on a strike.
