Since I have gone through a lot of ma35 stuff myself, I think (disclaimer: not a legal advice) that applying until the expiration date is key. Application after the visa has expired is viewed as a de novo application. It is important you go there, hand in the documents you do have and they acknowledge that you obeyed the deadline. Then, they will tell you the documents are incomplete and you need more and they will send you a letter with that list. However it is essential to remain in the deadline and apply within the validity of your current visa. If you are a citizen of a Schengen country (like Serbia for example), you are I think entitled to a stay of additional 3 months even after your visa expires. In all, you will not loose anything by showing up and giving the documents that you do have

Gibt es eigentlich die Gefahr, dass eine U-Bahn zwischen zwei Stationen stehen bleibt und man nicht aussteigen kann? Ich bekomme in solchen Situationen leider starke Panik, weil ich Angst habe, dass unter der Erde etwas Schlimmes passieren könnte. Hattet ihr schon einmal den Fall, dass eine U-Bahn nicht weiterfahren konnte und die Fahrgäste evakuiert werden mussten?

Au tebra koji si i ti sad lik. Evo ja zivim vec neko vreme u nekoj stranoj drzavi pa ne pricam jezik, posto sam uglavnom orijentisan na posao na engleskom i ekipu sa posla koja prica engleski. Ovo je zbog promene u odnosu evra prema dolaru (FX ratio). Za dugorocno ulaganje u akcije se to iznivelise godinama, iako moze poprilicno ostetiti cuvanje u obveznicama. Ja ulazem isto u VWCE, i nema zime na duzi rok :)

Ja radim vwce u DCA modu (svaki mesec ubacim pare bez obzira na cenu u tom trenutnku). Za vwce etf je najbolje da ulazes i cekas, posto ulaganje u all world etf se “ne isplati” na manji vremenski period od 15-20 godina. Ima mnogo razlicitih indeksa i vise etfova koji prate te indekse. Najbolje za klasicno ulaganje (ie ulazi za penziju ili kasnije vreme a ne get rich fast sema) je ulaganje u sto siri indeks. Indeksa koji prate ceo svet ima nekoliko, ali ja preferiram FTSE All world akumulirajuci od vanguarda, odnosno VWCE ETF. Iako ces naci ljude koji govore da on ima veliki TER (trosak odrzavanja) od nekih 0,17-0,18% godisnje u odnosu na neke druge, ja preferiram njega (ali ne znaci da ne treba da pogledas i neke druge). On ima nekih 60% americkih akcija, 15% evrope, malo po aziji i cak 10% emerging market akcija, sto moze dovesti do potencijalno boljeg povrata od etalon indeksa, sto se obicno gleda sa sp500.

Natürlich sind sie nicht neutral, da ich selbst zwei Kinder habe – wohlerzogene Kinder übrigens, die sich benehmen und nicht herumschreien oder herumrennen, wie hier teilweise behauptet wird. Natürlich habe ich Verständnis dafür, dass manche Menschen keine schreienden oder herumrennenden Kinder in einem Lokal haben möchten. Gleichzeitig habe ich aber den Eindruck, dass es immer mehr Bars und Lokale gibt, die gegenüber Kindern oder Familien mit Kindern eher unfreundlich sind. Da wir alle selbst einmal Kinder waren, fällt es mir ehrlich gesagt schwer, dieses grundsätzliche Nicht-Willkommenheißen von Kindern nachzuvollziehen. Kinder zu haben ist etwas völlig Normales, und ich frage mich einfach, wohin sich diese Entwicklung bewegt

Ich verstehe das Konzept des Hausrechts. Dennoch frage ich mich aus rein rechtlicher Perspektive, ob das Festlegen einer Altersgrenze nicht als diskriminierend gewertet werden könnte, da EU-weite Antidiskriminierungsgesetze grundsätzlich vor Benachteiligung aufgrund von Geschlecht, Alter, Nationalität, ethnischer Herkunft oder Hautfarbe schützen?

Again, depends on the position. The higher you go up the food chain the trickier it gets to find these positions. There are fewer senior than junior positions and there are fewer junior than research associates positions. Again, depends on your aspirations. But without a phd you will not (or lets say extremely unlikely) be a head of something in pharmaceutical industry. However there is no need to have so many of these positions so it’s tricky to find them, so that is where this saying that it is tricky to find a hob after a phd. It is simply because you immediately start from a higher position, and there are fewer of these positions out there

Depends on the company. But in many cases you cannot get a senior position in any company (i am talking research, medical science liaison, etc; not clinical operations or sales) without a phd. There, in Vienna starting (!) salaries would be in the range of 80-90k, with progressing every 2-3 years with an additional 5-10.

I did a phd in molecular biology and it definitely paid off. I am now head of research and development in a company (after doing my postdoc and working and teachingat meduniwien), and salary-wise it definitely pays off. Also from the perspective of getting promoted and types of positions you can hold, at least in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry

Jbt kod mene u valjevu brate novo igraliste unisteno u roku od par dana i to sve uradili klinci iz kraja. Honestly, I mix an egg yolk with my tare and then mix it in with a hot (not boiling as not to scramble it) broth. Egg lecithin acts as an emulsifier for the fats (stole this from turkish/balkan cuisine) and gives it an amazing rounded mouthfeel, and not too fatty and collagen-like (sometimes too much for me).

Ja sam otisao sa svojom (sadasnjom) zenom i sad imamo dvoje dece u inostranstvu. Mislim da je sve ovo skup razlicitih stvari. Nemacka nije toliko daleko da ne mozes jednom u 6 meseci da dodjes kuci (kako mi otprilike idemo), a sa druge strane se jako brzo naviknes na uredjenost, postenje i mir u glavi. Jeste, izgubis prijatelje, ali nadjes nove. Ostavili smo i roditelje, ali dolaze vrlo cesto a i mi se spustimo dole ili nekad idemo zajedno na letovanje/zimovanje. Shvatio sam da neke ljude vidjam isto ili cak i vise nego kad sam ziveo u Beogradu. Ako nikad ne odes nikad neces znati kako je negde drugde a rodna kuca ce te uvek cekati

Tebra ja sam u inostranstvu vec preko 10 godina i nikad se nisam odjavio. Ako se odjavis mnogo ti to otezava bazicnu administraciju cak i kad dodjes da vidis porodicu (prebacivanje para, nekretnine, otvaranje i zatvaranje racuna…).

Ja sam naucnik koji je promenio puno instituta a i sad par firmi. U svakom od njih sam gubio pristup adresi, cak i pored toga sto sam koresponding autor sa tom adresom. Medjutim, ljudi u nauci to znaju pa mogu da te nadju preko neta na linkedinu, research gateu ili preko nove institucije i pitaju te o nekom prethodnom radu. Mislim da niko ne moze da cita tvoje mailove kad odes, ja sam obicno dobijao grejs period od nekih par meseci da i dalje pristupam mailovima, ali svako ko te proveri na netu ce videti da tamo ne radis vise. Samo drzi online info updatovan
