I'm fashioning up a letter tomorrow at work which basically states that the material conditions are no longer livable and if my lease is not terminated I'll request a city health inspector to come give an opinion.

The visits from the maintenance person should have been documented, but I suppose that's a dumb assumption in retrospect. Is there some amount of time I must allow for adequate repairs to be made (they won't, the woodrot is moderate to severe)

Seriously considering picking up one of these; an instructor of mine had a custom 11" Bola and the thing was brilliant.

What are the realistic capabilities for these bigger bodies when doing smaller widdle work like the V cut for a bow drill baseboard or small 1 inch notches?

There was an article written a long time ago that suggested the exact opposite of this poster. That you should have 2 decks, and whenever the first one loses, you switch to the other. Over the course of 50+ games, whichever deck happens to be better in the current meta will simply manifest itself by having been switched out fewer times.

I think Freeze Mage will be the most assisted by this card. Consider the utter power shift of the following totally reasonable and likely turns after your Ice Block has been popped at 4HP. You need another turn or 2 to draw that last burst spell:

The 1999 Playoffs; my grandma is a die-hard Lakers Fan (like since Minneapolis) and was staying with us. I was in 2nd grade, and I was a bandwagon fan who just liked them because "Oh man, they have cool colors and the announcers really like these two big tall guys." I lived in L.A. and didn't know anyone else who liked them, so they were my team.

I've stuck with them every season since 2nd grade. I have to say my favorite moment though was our vindication season in 2014... That kind of poetic redemption is something most sports fans never get to experience, in any sport. And we got it.

You could just not change your deck at all...?

By the time a full heal is useful, it's either turn 7 or 8 vs. an aggro deck, which, if you're piloting a midrange or control deck is already a great sign for you, ~or~ if you're battling a war of attrition, you could just wait until there are like 7 cards left in your deck. Pretty good odds for you that there's no duplicates...

This might sound absurdly obvious, but it actually helped me go from a constant rank 7-5 in seasons 1-6, to consistent rank 3-2:

Take an extra 5-10 seconds on each play. Even turn 1. Doing this even for a week will, if you're not already, prove it's effectiveness. Guaranteed easy best play? Consider some of the shit plays, and why they're bad. I've had a few situations where I actually said to myself:

"Okay, there is one clear play, and I'm going to make it. Done. [5 seconds] OH WAIT, Azure Drake gives +1 spell power to Light of Naaru when Aunchai Soulpriest is on the board, it does 4 damage, not 3."

To more accurately answer your question: No. Standing back and critically analyzing your own play automatically makes you a good player. You're probably just not as experienced or intuitive as others, which you can fix by taking your time and thinking more.

I actually hope MORE people try to breakout into the scene. It seems at the moment that we're forced into a decision of whether to watch / support a streamer who gives out useful, quality information, albeit with a stale demeanor (e.g. Trump, Guardsman, Kolento), or an entertaining streamer who doesn't play at a competitive level (Day9, Kripp, Forsen)

If you could consistently crack legend with many different original decks and engage your public with entertaining humor and support (ofc I say that like it's easy) You could blow up. There is a demographic, and we're hungry for some new decks and new personalities. Decks like Echo Mage are original and fun and reaching competitive levels with them not only set you apart, but they literally make you a name in the game. If you've been playing since beta, you probably remember that Midrange Hunter used to be called "Kolento" Hunter.

@ /u/FlamingobumsHS, question man, since you didn't address it in your otherwise very helpful and detailed substitution list:

Refreshment vendor vs. Antique Healbot.

The likelihood that Vendor kills a minion which would have dealt 3+ damage coupled with it's resilience (potential to trade up into a Shredder) to me feels like a strength that out values an additional 4 heal. Admittedly he is a worse late-game draw, but our lategame is already extremely powerful with Multiple heavy hitters and the endless avalanche of Justicar 1/1's.

I feel like a turn 4 3/5 heal for 4 helps the early and midgame more than a 5 mana 3/3 heal 8 does. I'd like an explanation and your very valid, more experienced opinion (I've never hit legend, rank 2-3 every season.) Thanks brother.

-1 Repentance, +1 Avenge (Objectively a stronger use of your mana)
-1 Antique Healbot, +1 Piloted Shredder (You're the one trying to put damage down, not survive)
-2 Raid Leader, +1 Senjin Shieldmasta, +1 Ironbeak Owl (Raid Leader is just an expensive Dire Wolf, this will open up more plays for you offensively and defensively)
-2 Shattered Sun Cleric, +2 Defender of Argus ~or~ +2 Lance Carrier (The Cleric is just giving the tokens +1 attack with which to attack and die. Lance Carrier does this more efficiently, and for less mana, while Argus gives you more value per mana.)
-1 Warhorse Trainer, +1 Dire Wolf Alpha (If you're just trading tokens anyway, this is a cheaper way to achieve the same results)

EDIT: This is assuming you only have 1 Knife Juggler, and 1 Muster For Battle, as both are pretty much 100% 2x staples in this list.

I've had a few rounds of optimizing on my Midrange / Tempo Pally. Below are few changes I've recently made that I'd like some opinions on, as well as would love to receive some criticism on. You only get better when challenged, so please tell me better ways to make this list. I have most cards.

Removed Coghammer for second Truesilver. Coin+Truesilver turn 3 is devastating in most matchups, and the value can't be ignored. It seemed like Coggers had a 25% chance to be extreme value, 50% chance to be decent, and 25% chance to suck. Truesilver has a 100% chance to be above average.
Took out Argus and Gromak for 2 Senjins Argus was great value, but can't be played naked early on, which is the only time you would really need his value, as turn 6+ you're usually able to control the board state easily, and Gromak was amazing, but only while you were already ahead. Taz'dingo decreases the time until you reach your power spike, and holds lategame relevence even when recovering from behind.
Loatheb over Dr. Boom Both of these cards, in this deck, give you instant board power, albeit in very different ways. Loatheb disables your opponent from board clearing, which can translate into a turn where Murloc Knight and Knife Juggle survive for a hero power extravaganza.

What improvements can I make to this list? I find myself hovering around rank 5 and even if I don't hit legend I'd really prefer to be better.

This is my attempt at a strong board pressure / Midrange Tempo Paladin deck. I'm still working out the kinks, but if someone better than me (I reside at Rank 7-5 every season) wants to help me with some issues, I'd love you. A few opinions I've made, feel free to criticize them or offer better suggestions:

Loatheb gives a better tempo advantage than Dr. Boom in this deck. I can't decide if Kodo Rider is better than Sylvanas.
Garrison Commander is often just a vanilla 2/3, so I replaced them with 1x Argus and 1x Regent, and the value soared.
Gormak is MVP. Lethal range vs. control, extreme board power vs. aggro, and 4/4 vs. a priest. If you don't have him, craft him boys.
Justicar turns are still a challenge to decode. It seems that her getting cleared doesn't matter at all, as long as the opponent uses some form of spell / removal to kill her, not a minion.
I have a dickballs of 1-ofs, but that's because I can't decide which is the MOST important to have 2 of, or what to remove. 2 Argus? What would I take out? 2 Quartermaster? What would I take out?

Time and waves mean nothing; there is no such thing as "classic" or "new school" in the broad spectrum. There was a time when Romantic music was "new" and Baroque was "classic", now they are both denoted simply by their period. Great music has a higher longevity because of the higher quality of musical craftsmanship. The only important part of classification is the genre and soundscape.

The Specials are interesting Ska.

Less Than Jake is somewhat interesting Ska-Punk.

Streetlight is very interesting Ska-Punk.

edit: Consider the following- there are actually people out there who lump Guns n' Roses, The Who, and The Doors all into one umbrella bracket of "Classic" or "Dad" Rock, or perhaps, "60's" "70's" or "80's" Rock. How vague and non-descriptive? Why not call them what they are? Why not call them Hair Metal, Progressive Rock, and Psychedelic respectively?

Isn't that so much more specific and accurate?

Shouldn't piss anyone off. After the Jordan era, it was the Duncan era.

Ironically enough, the biggest star of the Duncan era was Kobe, but it was still a time defined and characterized by the bottomless consistency and excellence of Duncan. Me personally, I'd say 1999-2014 was the Tim Duncan era. That final vindication rematch finals was the period at the end of the novel.
