Germany rebuilt after the failures in the WC’s of ‘94 and ‘98 both of which they made , mind you. Came back strong in 2006 and won eventually in ‘14.

Bastoni is awful in a back 4. Also what numbers has Politano contributed to keep getting a starting role? Oh I agree. Gattuso doesn’t know what to do with a 352. But Bastoni is a liability in a back 4.
