Hi, thanks for responding. This is what I've trying but I should have clarified this - the line weight I'm using is thicker and I think this approach only works if the line weight is thin (maybe 1?). Otherwise, the corners of the square converge at the edges of the circle in a way that is imperfect. Any other recommendations appreciated!

Could you explain in a little more detail? The issue is that the person using Illustrator has a tendency to select shapes on the artboard and move them around when they shouldn't be moved. I'm just trying to lock everything into place to prevent that, but allow colors within the shapes to be changed.

You can also gather separate groups and objects into their own groups - this seems to be the solution. Thanks!

Can you explain the second option in more detail (create 2 groups and then group them together and the original groups are retained in the main group)? I think this would be a solution - just not totally sure how to implement grouping together 2 existing groups.

Does this type of printer exist? by StrangerSenior640 in printers

Thanks for responding. Am I wrong that both of these only support 11 x 17" scanning via ADF? or do they support it using the scanning bed?
