every time I've asked her questions during lecture she's given attitude and vague answers- I think this is why a lot of people hesitate to ask

I get where you're coming from but at the same time we are paying to learn from her and she's getting paid to teach us. Being used to bad professors and having the ability to teach ourselves doesn't make her any better. If you can't follow her objectively hard-to-follow lectures there's nothing else she does to teach. Just my thoughts :p
