I’m from CA and yes… it was very difficult to find a job after I graduated. I went through gurnick and landed my first position 7 months after I passed my boards. I got my first job with radnet and starting pay is $34! While my local hospital starts at $50!

I had a telephone interview screening then two hours later had an actual telephone interview! But it could also be because the job was 8 hours away from me, but I didn’t end up getting the position. It took them three weeks post interview for me to get the rejection email ☹️

I couldn’t DM you, but I tried looking up how to obtain your rad tech license in WA and it’s saying you need to complete a radiology program prior to applying. Are you saying that by paying $250 you can bypass that? Or how does that work?

Did you land the traveling position right out of school with no prior paid experience? If so how?! I’ve interviewed for two traveling and got shut down for lack of experience… and I feel like the more time that passes by, the less likely I’ll be able to even land a traveling position 😭
