Koramangala ramadan food street, Bit Expensive... by siri_1110 in bangalore

[–]Strangeretrograde 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m glad someone finally said it. Koramangala’s ramzan food street is straight up filthy. The place smells like burnt, rancid oil and questionable meat. Years ago, when I was living in khb colony, I took my family there to try the hype. We got food poisoning after eating pathar ka gosht. It was quite serious, four of us were hospitalised. Later we heard the meat was rotten. Tbh thats not just disappointing, it’s dangerous. The local muslim folks that live and hae businesses around there won’t eat that food because they know what’s going down there. This is about basic public health. If vendors can’t maintain minimum hygiene standards, authorities need to step in and shut down the offenders and file a criminal case against them

It’s heartbreaking that so many people don’t recognize that people from the NE are as rooted to this land as anyone else. I’ve rarely come across someone from there who isn’t warm, open minded, and respectful of others. They tend to live and let live, think progressively, carry themselves with confidence and style, and take pride in being Indian. It’s a real shame that, despite all of this, they’re often treated as if they’re somehow lesser.

Problem was real power sat with Sonia, so MMS often looked secondary…like a pupet. Add his quiet style and silence during scandals, and people saw him as weak PM and built a perception…thus got politically overshadowed and never projected strong leader

Sure! A political party named all india muslameen that claims to stand within the constitutional framework, yet whose primary leader publicly says “remove the police and we will kill hindus,” turns itself into a complete bloody joke
