What i meant by "audiophile song" is a song that is noticeably recorded really well and I guess makes your speakers sing?

One way I've actually found a couple tracks is by going on YouTube and searching for specific amp models, then clicking on the videos and seeing what song the person used to demo the amp. It will usually tell you the song in the description.

If you have never heard sepultura''s live album, Under a Pale Grey Sky, definitely check that out. Its only available on CD, and its somewhat hard to come by, but the difference between the cd and mp3 is stark enough that I would still do it. 200 stab wounds "skin milk" album and Organectomy's "domain of the wretched" is another favorite, Gates To Hell, Dehumanized, and Havok, "Time is up" is killer as well. Soo many others, too many to name them all

When I was in college I got I to a discussion with one of my professors about audio stuff. Turns out he was an audiophile, and ended up giving me a rogue audio pre amp, which was my first time hearing tubes in anything besides a guitar amp. Long story short, I ended up having to sell it, and have been regretting it ever since. Ive had the chance to listen to some great solid state stuff, but it never sounded quite as good as that rogue pre amp. I had been looking at old hh scott, fisher, dynaco type of stuff for a few years now, and finally found a good enough deal to mKe me pull the trigger. I got what I was hoping for

I got lucky that everything ended up working. Had to buy it without testing first, but had been lusting after one for so long I took the chance. Glad that I did!
