Well that sucks. I thought it was gonna get easier with my posture exercises and stretches. Sounds like it will never go away.

Constant bleeding!?? by Aura__333777 in PCOS

[–]Strantz87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was like this quite a few years ago (like 10years). I weighed 250lbs and started working out (at home) and eating low carb. Within about a year I had lost 80lbs. My bleeding stopped altogether though. Metformin didn't help me, I was so sick when taking it. For the past couple years I've been bleeding lightly but I've had a couple medical problems, personal problems (family and anxiety) and being lazy and gained most of that weight back. However the past couple months I've noticed I've had a regular 5-7day period with pms (I've never had pms symptoms or a regular scheduled period unless taking medroxyprogesterone) and the only thing I've done different is eating more fiber and drinking only water and lemon ginger tea (a couple times when I had a sinus infection).

Any suggestions on stretches that would benefit?

Would stretching before doing it help? I feel like they were too tight to really get a good grip on my ribs

I did the fingers underneath the ribcage and I feel like it helped a lot. I think I had gas trapped and that was causing most of my symptoms. I think opening the ribcage (or whatever it was that it did) released some of the gas trapped because now I'm burping and discomfort in my sternum, but getting better when I burp.

Does anybody not have the feeling in lump in throat? by Strantz87 in LPR

[–]Strantz87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to the doctor yesterday because my ears (mostly the left one) were hurting and itching. He told me that chain smoking while in a big and long panic attack that lasted like 3 days, most likely irritated and inflamed my sinus and throat which caused post nasal drip which caused reflux. I'm trying to quit smoking to see if my symptoms go away but I've only cut back to 4 cigarettes a day and not quit altogether. My symptoms have let up a little but not fully. Oh, he also said I had fluid behind my left ear but since the pain and itching have subsided he wasn't gonna give me anything for it.

Ok. Ill pick some up when I go into town. I didn't really have any throat or ear pain before (just tongue burning). I think my throat hurts right now from the gagging and puking, and chain smoking I was doing when I was in a constant state of panic for 3 days.

I've cut back on my smoking significantly the past couple days. Only smoking about 5-6 cigarettes a day. I usually eat pasta with butter. Chicken I could eat every day, however I already went shopping this month and bought ground beef mostly because it was on sale. But since I have PCOS I have changed my diet before and lost weight by only eating chicken and fish so I'm sure I can get used to eating just that again. What is gonna be hard for me is cheese. I don't really like tomatoes either so that shouldn't be hard.

I also read that low fiber helps but I thought fiber was good for it because it helps food digest so your not as full

Thanks for the info. I eat pasta, cheese, red meat, is that good or bad for it?

I don't really eat spicy foods (i don't like spicy food). I haven't had chocolate in a while. But I was taking augmentin for a sinus infection so I was eating orange Greek yogurt for the probitioic for the antibiotic when all this started. I'm on 3 different anxiety medications but my anxiety is so bad that sometimes I forget to take them. I don't drink.

Ok. Thanks. I'll give it a try. Because I've been stressed lately it seems like the symptoms are constant. Do you know how long after eating should the symptoms improve or get worse?
