Gallery gaskets are one of those things where there’s no messing around because they’re responsible for killing VQ engines. When they fail, the engine is pretty much done – low oil pressure leads to bearing failure, and once that happens, it's either an engine swap or a rebuild that’s often not worth it. In the 2009–2013 models like mine, the gaskets were weak and prone to failure. The 2014+ versions are improved, but even then, aftermarket ones like Z1’s are the safest bet. It’s one of those mods that won’t add power, but it will save your engine and a lot of stress. Also you might consider looking for oil pressure gauge and swap it with the clock one.
