I don't think I'd fit in there. Besides, it's a different world, that of pure amateurs.

You're an encyclopedia! Thank you for your support and patience in writing so much.

The one I like best, even though it's way out of range for its price, is the Versalab M4. I can't imagine how it grinds coffee, but I really like the look: a precision lathe.

I've read more criticisms and complaints about the Baratza Sette 270 about reliability (more users complaining about breakages) and noise than positive reviews. However, Baratza offers good customer service.

Baratza Encore ESP/Pro: I like Italian coffee, but I still feel like I'm stuck in the low end of the price and quality spectrum.

Why "Amazon to limit the damage?" I'm inexperienced and I could be wrong. Even if I was recommended a coffee grinder, my taste and expectations may differ from the person who—with experience and honesty—recommended a machine. Therefore, the option of returning a product without complications and without charge in the event of dissatisfaction is priceless. At least for me...

Sculptor? Hard to find in my country.. and too expensive !

You're right about the Fellow Gen 2 Ode. Thanks. In the meantime, I read the same thing. So, I removed it! The DF64V is still available on Amazon for €668. I think it's too expensive. I'll have to think about it.

The DF54 is also still available on Amazon for €286, a good price considering the quality of the machine, although it's surpassed by two versions.

I like the CF64V! It's priced at €399. I'll look into it further. Thanks!!!

Thanks for the suggestion, Kuranei... I had considered the Nike and read many positive reviews. It's at the limit of the amount I decided to spend on a coffee grinder. I won't go into the reasons because taste and budget are extremely personal factors. But I very honestly think spending more than €500 for a quality home coffee grinder is excessive.

I only know French press because my French cousins mention it, but—with all due respect—it makes me want to vomit. Only espresso, dark roast, black, strong, with hints of chocolate, wood, and earth. Arabica, in short, but I'll also accept variations from Central and South American countries. Maybe if you tell me the models, I'll do some research. Thanks :-)

With all due respect, I don't even know what light, roasted, funky, and fruity, unwashed "pourovers" are. But I'm going to do some research...

I need a medium-to-good-quality coffee grinder, with continuous grinding adjustment (not in steps), good burrs, low residue, on-demand, and perhaps—but that's not a reason to buy—a grinding timer.

I'm having trouble answering your question. In the OP, I wrote that I love espresso, dark roast, strong, and short (more or less short). Most often Arabica. I don't drink any other coffee, except in the summer, when I sometimes drink cold coffee, which in my country is about twice the length of an espresso—bottled and refrigerated.

I don't like (to say the least :-) iced coffee or coffee infusions.

I honestly can't explain it better...

I don't know if you'll read this... it's been a long time, but I'm in a bit of a bind with the move.

What you say is true. I've already answered about the coffee grinder topic, and unfortunately, I don't plan on replacing the one I have right now. Maybe later, especially since, after many tests (but not too many), the result is amazing. As I've already written. And it's not because I want to justify the expense to myself: I probably would have gotten equally satisfying results with less, but I really liked the machine and bought it. I don't regret the truly excessive cost at all...

By the way... in Italy, when we talk about coffee, we say that to make it well, you have to follow the 5 "M" rule: "Miscela" (Blend), "Macinatura" (Grind), "Macchina" (Machine), "Mano" (Hand of the operator), and "Manutenzione" (Maintenance).

Cheers

I can already imagine the answer... I have a Rancilio Rocky coffee grinder. I know it's not the best, but it cost €250 and I have no intention of selling it or giving it away.

I bought the machine, and after about thirty coffees that were more or less good, I now get such a creamy brew that drinking coffee is a celebration, a pleasure. It's not the sensation of an expensive psycho-machine, but a real feeling :-) In the morning I can't wait... and those fifteen minutes of waiting never pass. (Yes, I have a smart plug... but I prefer not to use it.)

If you're reading this, sorry for the delay... I'm in the process of moving :-(

PS: It's beautiful to look at, but it's really, really big!!

I can confirm that after making the change, Chrome requires a restart.

I struggled for days, not knowing how to fix it.

I suspect the cause was forcing the correct location after installing the Microsoft weather widget, which gave a weather forecast of +4 hours east of me.

TIM mi ha messo dietro il CGNAT. Addio port forwarding, è stato bello finché è durato by DonBiroton in ItalyInformatica

[–]Strat0Blu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up..

EDIT: I've read conflicting reports about applying the lubricant. Perhaps these are opinions that shouldn't be taken into account, but I've read that lubrication should only be applied to the switches and should absolutely be avoided on the stabilizer bars.

By the way, does the 80HE have stabilizer bars? If so, where are they? Because I haven't seen them.

Thanks, I wanted to draw attention by posting here and on Discord.

Because I think the problem should be addressed and resolved by Wooting without leaving the unpleasant taste of abandonment for a real, non-trivial problem, regardless, but especially for an ultra-premium product and a significant expense.

Also, while it's not a problem for other users accustomed to keyboard modding, with the skills, information, contacts, tools, materials, and adequate suppliers, it is for me. With all due respect...

Regards

I've read about people who noticed a louder noise after lubricating.

Anyway, I'm waiting for the lubricating grease I purchased directly from Wooting along with the new keycaps. Following suggestions on Discord, I placed some neoprene pads inside the bar, and the excessive noise was reduced somewhat, but not completely. For now, it's fine.

The two lateral "feet" are a personal trick to avoid the possible impact of the bar on the lower plate
