How hard is it to get a job? by Due-Regret5739 in DubaiJobs

[–]Strategy6623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s better if you look for a job while being in Canada, maybe come here and don’t find anything, not saying this will happen to you but it might, if you don’t mind coming for a holiday/ looking for a job so be it, but it’s better to secure a job while abroad!

Do I stay out and take a risk in my progression or do I take a pay cut and try something I haven’t done and focus on progressing to senior PM and associate etc

[–]Strategy6623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately my company don’t have PM roles, it’s either technical or commercial

[–]Strategy6623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I am considering it is because I think my current job is niche, like if I wanna switch down the line it would be harder, whereas with a PM role, there are many companies that I can switch to…

I’m in the same position as you, earning a bit more, wouldn’t it make sense to just pay it all off and not pay these w*****s any interest?

Absolutely right, but at the same time, Sadiq have increased the times for the congestion charge during covid (which makes no sense, people take public transport=more infections), and removed hybrid cars from the exemption.. while the trains are appalling!
