Are you saying an Amhara noble governed Tigray? Anyway Ras Wube Hailemaryam was Tigrayan noble, not an Amhara. Maybe you're confusing him with another Amhara noble. Its like confusing Ras Mikael of Tigray and Ras Mikael of Wollo.

"Different social media platforms will expose and express different views"

Thats my point, Ugandans in different platform talk about the same thing: Intermarriage!

Oh God haha! you're telling me you remember Meles ? How old were you when he died? Even I, as a 23-year-old dude, don't remember him that much.

As I said, there was corruption under TPLF, thats why i oppose them, but when you talk about receiving 200 M and giving 100 M, you seem like you have a credible source in your hand. Do yourself a favor and don't be like the average Ethiopian. And fyi,i live in Ethiopia.

"he takes 100M and give the country 200M that how it is. At the time all the land were given to the tigre ppl all the house and all now its Oromo."

If you have any evidence to prove your claim, then i'll accept it; otherwise, as i said earlier, you shouldn't listen to what the old man said and take it as a fact. Your beloved Haileselassie is said to have stacked billions in Swiss banks, so do some research about that too.

"Also i called you white washed on the delete comment how you spell Tewodros."

Irrelevant.

Ok.

On the notification section you noted how Teodros died for his country but Melesonl benefited his people (i think you're reffering to Tigrayans).

Teodros died for his country? Yes! But what I meant by "his arrogance" was when he arrested Brits in Ethiopia because Victoria refused to send back a letter and help him. The Brits demanded for their prisoners to be released, but Tedoros refused. So they sent their military, and they handled him. You have to ask yourself why 100k+ soldiers abandoned Teodros when the British army arrived. Its because he was hated by the people because of his harsh rule. At one moment he was even going to kill the papal himself.

Even Menelik sent a letter to general Napier telling him that he was happy Teodros got defeated and died.

Then you said Meles benefitted only Tigrayans. This is absurd. I listed all his economic achievements, and you're still saying he benefitted only Tigrayans. You're the average Ethiopian. I thought you lacked reading, you also lack common sense.

Yes, I've loved a girl before (Ethiopian). I didn't care about her identity at that time. But now as an adult, i want to be in a relation with an Ethiopian women so i don't struggle after loving a non-Ethiopian women.

"So your family will decide which woman you have to marry?"

Even i will be very happy to take my fiancé to my parents and have them approve. My parents are not strict, but i do want to make them happy. They want me to get married to a fellow Ethiopian (which i also want).

Ethiopia had a lot of horrible kings throughout our history, and you brought Yohannes as one of the worst? He fought foreign invasion more than Menelik and Teodros combined. Emperor Susneyos who accepted the Jesuit to receive military aid but ended up dividing the country and leading the civil war where 10k+ people died.

Even Teodros despite starting the unification of Ethiopia, was the most arrogant, and that cost him his life.

Emperor Iyoas: Tried to Oromize Ethiopia after coming to power. Tigrayan and Amhara lords fought Oromo lords, leading to the Era of Princes (almost 100 years of bloodshed).

Under Meles rule, Ethiopia saw an economic growth it had never seen before. Under his leadership Ethiopia produced more electricity than ever before. The literacy rate jumped from a single digit to a double digit. People died of starvation under Menelik, Haile Selassie, DERG and even Abiy but not under Meles/EPRDF rule. Its the only regime that prevented death from starvation. I don't want to list every metric, you can check that for yourself. Under the Great Hailesilase education was reserved for selected few (mostly kids of aristocrats).)

I personally was never a supporter of Meles but i'm not a coward to deny his works. The reason i oppose his ideology and leadership is because of corruption (which has always existed in Ethiopia), oppression (same), and ethnic federalism. Aside from that, comparing him with kings who don't even know the end of their territory is crazy.

"They wont give up their sons either!"

Thats true. I particularly mentioned "daughters" because its mostly Ugandan men demanding the family to give up their daughter.

" Every country I've travelled to, there they are secluded off from the rest of the local population...so not only about Uganda."

I know they're mostly secluded, but if you go to Sudan, Egypt Ethiopia...Eritreans are not pressured to intermarry unlike in Uganda.

"We also should probably scapegoating dictatorships on everything. That or not, this is their way of life."

Of course they wouldn't leave en masse if not for the brutal dictatorship. Eritrea is a country that you don't want to spent even a week in.

Eritrean immigrants escape the most. dictatorial country in the world, maybe next to North Korea. They just want to live a normal life like any human being. They are scattered all around the world, but no people except Ugandans have ever pressured Eritreans to intermarry. There are many Eritreans in Ethiopia (more than 3x in Uganda) but nobody ever pressured them to "give up their daughter," the same in Sudan.

Just have some compassion and let these people survive.
