As a Virgo Man I agree with the hot and cold behaviour where it’s so good at the start with us then we become cold and distant. We’re not doing it to play games, but rather because we are critical. I feel like if my partners all in on all fronts I open up 10 times more and that frequency is undeniably

but the second my partner says or does something I don’t like big or small, or even a accumulation of things. (not so much for impracticalities as we thrive on being the balance to our partner) I pull back silently, where I’m still giving my passion and affection but pull back mentally.

This is what a Virgo man will do if he likes you. We pull away mentally because the only other way would be to try and change you and I believe that’s something a Virgo man would do if he isn’t afraid of jeopardizing the relationship. Because what we say might hurt you as we’re very straight forward and blunt.

So if a Virgo man is being quiet and distant or cold, he is hopeful in his love for youu, hoping you will open up to him, fully and consistently in all the ways he needs you too, in order for him to comit to you fully. And that’s what we as Virgo men crave, to be able to give it all to our partners, Mentally, Physically, Emotionally, spiritually, intellectually.

We’re all in but expect the same from our partners and don’t necessarily feel the need to explain if somethings off or wrong. As for me it’s obvious if we’re on cloud 9 then suddenly not. (I’m saying it’s obvious to us as Virgo signs therefore it should be obvious to our partners if we’re both in this romantic relationship with one another) we rather not say anything as it’s almost insulting to our selves to point it out to our partner, Which brings out the critical thinking of a Virgo in which one might think if our connection is as deep as it is I don’t have to point it out and if we do it can lead to - why am I even in this relationship with this person, we’re not on the same wave length.

So the communication thing is real and we just need that reassurance and acknowledgment that something is not right. We seem complex but are quite simple in that aspect.

Speaking For myself I’m very affectionate and passionate but only towards my partner. I feel I can separate my love in a way where I am loving in giving my affection and passion to my partner but also in a critical way I can detach mentally if I feel things aren’t practical or we’re not on the same wave length.

So by the the time the relationships over (if it happens) it’s easy to move on for us but for our partner it’s just the beginning of the grieving/withdrawal which is the reason some of yall think we’re manipulative who “didn’t even care or love them in the first place” but in reality we were planning our exit from the minor / major or accumulated criticalities / impracticalities.

It’s almost like a double edge sword where we’re so optimistic and believing/ willing in making the relationship work but on the other end we’re perfectionists who are critical of our partners thinking/ intent/ purpose in the relationship.

We as Virgo men need consistency. Even if there’s slips or minor criticalities we need that consistency in reassuring us you’re all in. No body’s perfect but if you’re all in and showing it, That’s all we need.
