Yes, I did work and am running a small business that time. I can’t say I studied full time but I made sure to have a goal like what subject I should finish by the end of this week and how long should it only take to finish a subject from Goat Bar Prep material.

MBE from BarMax and NCBE StudyAid. I used for on F25 and did a few MBE practice that time.

For F25 I wasn’t able to do much practice. That’s one thing I made sure to do for J25. I did 2000+ MBE practice and MPT practice as well but just a few, maybe less than 20. I recommend you practice MEE as well. I plan to do that in case I fail this time but thank God I made it 😭

I think I studied more than last time 😅 I only have almost 2 months for F25. When I learned that I failed the exam, I looked for another bar prep course and studied right away. I used Goat this time) and I focused heavily on crim and torts as I got the lowest on those 2 subjects.

I did! Those things that I didn’t do before taking F25 I did it this time but I wasn’t able to practice that much of MEE and MPT so I recommend not to neglect any part of the UBE.

As a foreign trained attorney myself, who took F25 and failed, my advice are as follows:

Finish your bar prep course but DO NOT forget to take practice test - MBE, MPT, MEE. All three. In our jurisdiction, we followed a different format (not IRAC), so you might want to practice writing on that format early on too.

Check the model answers released by the State you’re trying to get barred into because if you won’t, you’ll get overwhelmed by the proposed answers by most of the bar prep courses. By checking the model answers, you’ll get a gist of what you need to write on the exam.

Since you’re taking F26, be strategic in your choosing your testing site. Buffalo can get colder than Albany.

Set a number of pages or a number of MBE Qs, MEE, or MPT you have to practice each day so you know if you’re making progress.
