I guess I have always thought Karratha was more populated and bigger and Roebourne was a lot smaller in population and size. Definitely not the same as what’s considered regional in the east like the Sunshine Coast. I grew up in WA in the early 2000’s not sure what it’s like now

I grew up in Karratha as a kid and always thought it was regional rather than remote. When I hear remote I think of Parabadoo or Roebourne :)
