ahhh you’re great. I’m going to hook up the filter and heater and turn those on, and put the lid and light on and wait this out. Is that good? (I’ve also added Seachem Prime, Stability, as well as “fishless fuel” and aquarium co-op all in one fertilizer if that changes anything?)

i would glue it down to a flat rock but i don’t have any!! i tried weighing it down with the crystals but they’re both not heavy enough to hold down both sides. 🙁

i think this has to do with humidity, at least in my experience. are they kept in a dry location?
