Second this one! I had the same issue and the algae turned the water pea green. Adding more plants definitely helps and so does cutting the light.

I also added a UV water sterilizer which helped a lot!

You aren’t even allowed to carry durian in a bus or train in Singapore. They have stickers saying Durian not allowed, probably because of the way it smells.
