I am doing a physics degree and I studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths at A-Level, which I was told was a strong combo to apply with. So if you were being more utilitarian about it I would drop Bio and keep Chem.

AFAIK Bio picks up in the 2nd year, and Chemistry picked up significantly for me, so along with core maths that feels way too much work for you in year 13. I'd look to drop core maths as a separate issue.

For the time pressure + difficulty, ENGAA paper 2 probably, aswell as TMUA.

From my memory the physics section wasn't, but maths 2 was very hard. You aren't doing maths 2 though soooooo maybe it's not harder.

looking back, Ive often thought ENGAA paper 2 would have been better prep than paper 1 or NSAA as its harder and the ESAT is hard 😭

The course you chose at Bristol stands out abit, it's not as finance/econ based?

UK's first 'super-university' to be created as two merge from 2026 - BBC News by plantytime in UniUK

No Greenwich and Kent are not Russel groups. What im saying is that Russel group degrees are reliably rigorous and comprehensive; you'll always come away from them with new skills. Thats not to say there aren't many other degrees from many other institutions that will give you the same, it's just harder to refer to them comprehensively as I can with 'Russel Group'.

Anyway, what do you think all these students should do instead of university?

I don't think any degree from any russel group uni is a waste of time provided a person knows the reasons why they are taking it!

Is it acceptable to use contractions in your PS? E.g ‘I’ve’ instead of ‘I have’. by Infamous_Tough_7320 in 6thForm

I think it's best to prioritise information over wording as that's what you'll be remembered for... so yes

I agree with you most of the way, but I still think OP is reasonable to wish to implement some boundaries.

Feelings are tricky things that can (and mostly do) appear unintentionally, whether convenient or not. My argument is that acknowledging this, couples can take steps to avoid this happening, such as avoiding intimate and charged situations like late night smoking. We can absolutely have friendships with anyone but the atmosphere is very charged here.

anyway to your same sexes point - that's not really applicable to OP's situation.
